Wanting more
The carts are fairly aged - it was raining on us, and they had no bag covers on the back. I was riding solo and felt like if someone else was in the cart we wouldn't have made it up a few of the climbs. For $60, and first time there, i would've expected something in the way of a tee booklet showing where and where not to land, descriptions of blind shots, etc. There was absolutely nothing. Few time what we thought were good drives or shots ended up poorly or in water because there is nothing to tell you its there. Other than that its a beautiful course, was in great shape. The range and practice greens are simply beautiful as well. Would like to see them put some of that money into the carts now.
Nice track
I live close by but had not played here because it is a bit more expensive and I am not that good but we had a special occasion and I am sure I will be back. Very pretty course, challenging but fair and a good pace even on a busy Saturday morning.
Lots of improvements
Played yesterday was going along fine til hole number 7 had 3 groups on that hole was slow from there ugh. Now the good lots of workers doing projects and several features to include the water feature on hole 7 was up and running for the first time in years. This is a great course that you should play.
Boulder
Boulder is not an exactly an easy course, played behind a threesome who had no business playing from the tees they chose. Having a ranger to encourage teeing it forward would have been ideal. These guys would watch eachother take every single shot, solo cart guy would not go over to his ball, instead insisted on waiting to watch the other two players hit. We even witnessed solo cart guy throw his ball forward at one point, still missing the green. The group behind us left, we considered it after 15 holes. Course was in solid shape, have seen it better. Course should hand out free ball mark fixers with a sign “don’t be an animal, fix your mark”. Absolutely insane how many marks there were on some of the greens, probably fixed 5 or 6 myself on every green.
Waste of what could be an elite public course.
Pace of play seems to never improve after constant feedback. Played an early afternoon round. Drove to the first tee, started watched me head to #1. Finish 9 and make the turn and the same starter tells me I can’t play the back and “nobody told me to tee off on #1.” Silly me to actually start on 1. What was I thinking. So only played 9 slow holes. Got a rain check for the back 9, but just a completely lack of any organization on the courses part.
Love the layout and the conditions but super unfortunate how slow and unorganized/unprofessional the starter was.
Gorgeous
Course exceeded expectations across the board. Pace was right on time, all amentitirs were available, and multiple tee boxes for all skill levels. A little bit of a hike from home, but definitely worth it and will be back.
Course has good practice area
The course has a chipping area and driving range which were very nice. The course is difficult and would be very tough walking.
There was no beverage cart and at the turn the stand was not open. When I checked it, I was told the place was open the turn so highly disappointed as I would have bought more drinks prior to starting 18 holes.
Great layout
Great condition ruff a little high. Greens held which I like.
Absolutely beautiful!
This course is a must play absolutely beautiful every single green maintained. Four different cuts of Fairway, intermediate Fairway, semi rough, deep rough. Scenery is just awesome
Excellent Course
One of the best layouts and designs of a course in Ohio that I’ve played.
Plenty of iconic and challenging holes.
Challenging course. Fairways are tight, and greens are fast and have plenty of undulation leading to tricky putts.
Overall, great course at a great price point.
Exceptional Public Golf Course
First time ever playing the golf course and let me say I was really impressed. The Greens were really manicured and fairways. 5 out of 5 stars!
