Golfer Reviews
Course good, value not so good
The course was in good shape, but was crowded and took more than 5 hours. Waited on 6 tees and other shots. No ranger out to keep people moving.
Ever hole has a 4’ border on each side of fairway line with dead/dormant grass.
It was very hot and sunny. There was no water in course and no person driving around with drinks/food. The halfway house was closed after 9th hole so had to go back to clubhouse.
The person in clubhouse said not know anything about no water on course and no one to ask.
Great Course
This was the nicest public course I have played in Ohio. Lots of elevation changes, beautiful scenery. Course was in excellent condition. The greens were a little slow probably because we have had so much rain lately. Loved the layout! I don't now if they allow it but I would not want to walk this course. Many hills and really spread out between holes.
We play this course every summer
Again, NO bathrooms again!!! Seems like it is run by a bunch of high school kids!
3 years ago this was a premier course, now run down for sure
Needs new owners
Wet
The Course wasn’t holding water well. It was really soggy. The layout was impossible to follow. There were so many extra cart paths for the grounds crew it was easy to get lost. Holes were spread out and intertwined. Finally, whoever cut the hole on 18, I hope you’re having a better day. It was the most ridiculous cut hole I have seen outside of tournament play. It was literally in the center of a significant slope. I missed a putt short by a couple inches and it rolled back 15 feet.
Very nice, blue tees were back, yardage was for the black tees, made it long for sure

Greens need cut and pace of play horrible
Staff was very friendly but course prices way too high. Pace of play terrible. Course in ok condition but not up to reputation of the course. Greens need attention.
Perfect course
I play here often at least once a week. This course is in perfect condition. It has challenging holes and an scorable holes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. These one star reviews are definitely slander by the competition
Over priced and over watered
I'm not sure why , but the last 2 times I've played here they saturated the greens and Fairways. They pulled the GPS units off of the carts. Just way over priced for conditions. There are much better courses in the area in better shape and cheaper.
Good course
I love Boulder by all means, but man there’s clover everywhere. Weeds on tees which you’re not going get it all of course. For the money, it’s a fabulous course. Extremely long. Took 6 hours. Also, what half way house closes at 4PM on the Fourth of July? Seriously, that’s nuts. It’s always been closed whenever I come here.
Awesome!
This course is just beautiful! Such a relaxing round of golf because of the picturesque views from every shot. Pace of play was a bit slow but I think it’s expected because of the challenges of every hole. This is not some weekend warrior hacker course. Even if you play from the senior or women’s tees you will be challenged. One of the best courses in the Cleveland area. If you have a chance to play it I recommend you do!
What a great course. Pace was on the slow side but we were a 2 some on Saturday morning so it’s understandable. Greens were in great condition along with the fairways and bunkers. Overall worth the money for sure.
