Excellent course conditions, pace of play and value
A really great round of golf overall. The greens, tees and fairways were excellent minus a couple bare spots in a few fairways. The pace of play for an afternoon round was excellent (finished with threesome in 3.5 hours) and the value was extraordinary.
Great condition
The course is really in great shape. The fairways and greens are the best I’ve ever seen them during the middle of summer. Not a single complaint
Completely Surprised
Not only was the staff amazing but the course really did take me by surprise. The staff continued to stay engaged and very polite. They were completely focused on making sure we had everything we needed. The fairways, tee box, bunkers and greens look like they put the work in. You could how the course would be good for beginner and advanced players. I will absolutely be going back.
Wide fairways lots of trees
Really well laid out. Just a few bare spots but mostly in great shape. Wide fairways but elevated greens with undulating greens.
Solid course for the money
Good condition, a lot of slopes on the greens makes it tough on some putts, fairly easy, not a lot of water, pretty wide fairways. Pace of play was slow because some people don’t like to let you play through.
Could be better
Not too bad. Couple of holes cart path only, but a lot of courses have had a lot of rain lately. Very slow play which they need a marshal to control.
Slow play
Had a thresome and a twosome in front of us. Very bad golfers. No etiquette. Would not let anyone thru. One single behind us jumped ahead of them. 2 holes were cart path only. But still in good shape
Way too slow
Was backed up starting at hole 4 and then by 14, it was backed up 3 deep at every tee box. I didn’t finish the round it was playing so slow. Really disappointing and not a marshal in sight. Seems like a few members or homeowners jump in on random holes and kill the pace. Like this course but probably won’t be back until they get a handle on this.
Way too slow
Was backed up 3 deep on every tee box from #14 onward. They need a ranger that actually does something. There are way too many homeowner members that will jump in with no tee time and screw everything up. Get it under control.
Won't be back.
I don't have time for 5+ hour round. By the time we got to 10 the twosome in front of us quit and we were already 30 min behind pace. We left after hunting for golf balls and finishing13 from being backed up since hole 3. Country club that allows slow play and I'll find somewhere else that manages the course better. Greens are pretty slow also.
Greens could be mowed a little shorter
Great track. Great people there. Cart girl was always available and friendly. Greens could be shorter but tough in the Texas heat I understand. Awesome track
