About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

RAIN BILL
Booked this Tee time 7 days in advance. Weather patterns changed and a storm came through. Pro Shop was adamant about not giving rain checks to the 3 groups people not including me that showed up to play. I prebooked my Tee Time. $92.00 total. Got Rained out on the front 9 and was told NO RAIN CHECK. So you want me to spend money and come back here to play? If this was a $35 muni I wouldnt care as much but $92.00 and no raincheck to comeback and play someday? Wont be back. Do better.

Greens were in great shape
I played with a former course superintendent and he was impressed with the overall condition of the course. I think that’s the best praise I can give. I’m ready to play there again!

Well here we go. 10/9/25
I knew before we teed off. Same ol crap.
Some foursome.ls Some five in a group.
3 groups on 1. 12 people on hole 4.
A lot of old bad golfers playing from the gold-driving it less than 100 yards. 3 hrs to play the front 9. Has not rained in weeks. Course was muddy as usual. There is no bump and run in front of the greens. Mudfield National should be the name.
Greens were slow and have not been cut.
If you see the Marshall all he does is ride to 13 smoke his cigar and take a trap. Horrible.
And it’s only worse on the weekends.
Tangle Ridge is the other close option. Hands down a better experience!

Miserable old guys
Don't go here. Course was empty. They wouldn't give me my own cart. 80 year old guys in there, time to bring in some new talent

Suboptimal
5 1/2 hours to play 18. 3 groups waiting to hit at nearly every hole. Marshall was MIA. Very decent layout but completely overbooked. Pace of play will rob you of your game.

Great Course! But no drinking water
The course is beautiful and very well maintained. Driving range is great also. My only complaint was, never saw a cart girl, and the water buckets were empty. Luckily hole 14 or 15 had a bathroom with a water fountain. I usually only bring some water for myself knowing I can fill up.

Love this course
I always enjoy playing this course. Although I have not played it recently, I was not disappointed. The greens were punched about a month ago and were in excellent shape. The fairways were also very nice for the middle of summer in Texas. The only thing that I was somewhat concerned about was the clumps of wet grass around the recently mowed approach on all the greens.i am looking forward to my next round.
