Love the new driving range bays and grill. Course was in good shape for this time of year. Front 9 has more character than the back for sure. Some tough par 3s

Had a great time playing this golf course and I always enjoy the layout Fairways were a little thin but it's just that time of year. Overall great value and a great staff

Golf course still plays very well.

It was dormant so it was playing hard and fast.

Looking forward to the course growing in after such a brutal summer last year.

A lot of tee boxes and fairways seemed to be in very rough shape (dry and bare areas) but hopefully spring weather will improve these areas along with maintenance.

Was shocked to see a course so neglected and cart paths (or lack there of) so run down and dilapidated. The GPS carts on a course this bad were laughable. Hint to courses with GPS carts: They slow down play and are more of a hindrance than a help. Having them on a track this bad is like raking sand In the Mojave. Trash everywhere, and having a Marshal hounding a group of 3 playing 5 minutes ahead of pace was like comedy night. We played behind a group of 5 the entire round, and were subject to their slow play. Overbooking on a Wednesday in February should tell you all you need to know about this course. No amenities, and a restaurant that isn’t even associated with the course itself. I only wish I could post photos of how bad the cart paths and tee boxes were. Tons of other courses that even in February looks ten times better than this one. Won’t be back.

Hoping that their "Top-Golf" concept works. Still some bumps to go through but a better value & closer to home for most...also not so crowded. Course was in good shape...pretty much as always. Good track!!!!

Course has recovered well from the summer heat. Well taken care of. Carts and staff were great

We visited Dallas and the short drive to Southern Oaks was definitely worth it.

Well laid out course with challenging shots from each set of tees.

Our group wasn’t the fastest so we let a couple of twosomes play through, but we didn’t see any other groups

Great track but need to have an actual Marshal and not just a starter. Per the golf cart we were 25 minutes behind pace and had to wait on every hole.

We used to love playing here even though a little way from N Ft Worth where we live. Now, they have the carts locked down where if you get 6 ft off the cart path, it forces a reverse and a couple of holes with a 60yd landing area were cart path only, so pain to figure out distance/ club. Also, tee boxes and fairways were sub par compared to the other munis we’ve been playing recently and week rate wasn’t a bargain. Hate to say it, but just too many other better options so skip this one.

First time playing Southern Oaks. Course is in great condition, greens are very fast
