Needs water
Nice course but the tee boxes need grass and water and fairways need water.
Southern Oaks
Southern Oak golf course is a great place to play. My partner and I teed off at 2:45 PM. The course was wide open. We got paired with another twosome and I couldn’t have been happier to have played the course yesterday under its conditions. My only regret was not being able to play all 18. It got too dark to continue after 16 holes. My overall experience was great and I plan on continuing to play this course in the future. They also have a magnificent driving range that everyone should take advantage of. On top of that the staff was great. Hit them straight!!!

Excellent deal on awesome course
Excellent value, excellent course, staff and pace of play. Some of the fairways have bare spots, especially just off the cart paths but everything else was great.
Course in great condition
The weather was perfect & the course was in great shape. Fairways arer wide & firm with plenty of bounce & roll for your tee shots. Greens were in perfect condition rolling fast & true. Pace of play was good with no waiting on any holes. Practice facilities were well set up.
All in all this was a very enjoyable course to play & I'll be back to play again.
Nice Track
Found the round on Golf Now, After a bit of a drive I found it was well worth it. Driving up to the club house was very scenic view. Parking was simple and close to the Pro shop. Carts are nice with GPS activated. Easy check in with friendly staff all around. Course is in great shape with nice grass through the fairways and greens were fast and undulated. Plenty of water on the course spread amongst the holes. I will surely be back to play again.
Pace of Play Enforcement
Could not take one more 10 minute wait at the tee box and left after finishing the 12th hole. A group of 4 ahead of the duo in front of me slowed down the entire course since hole 1. My group and another group of 4 finished hole 12 while there still two groups waiting to even tee off behind the trouble group. No marshall enforcement at all for the entire day. Multiple calls were made to the clubhouse.
12 holes took 4 hours.
Course is fun, well maintained, and forgiving but this pace of play experience has me unsure if I want to risk returning.
