About
Alsatian GC is an 18-hole with water in play. Front side fairly open and flat, almost links type play. Hole 2 surrounded by waterways and bunkers. Back side is hilly and has lots of trees. Super finishing hole with a tree in center of uphill fairway.
Throughout the course you will find challenging and beautiful fairways lined with trees and Spanish Dagger. The course also offers distance wedge game range, practice bunkers, three-level putting green, and a pre-round putting green.
Lodging: The Alsatian Inn is located approximately two miles from the club. A very nice facility, it has ninety rooms, a swimming pool, and a really good restaurant. Children under the age of fourteen stay free.
Distance: About 30 minutes from downtown on Highway
90 West to Castroville. But worth the trip.... Take Highway 90 West through Castroville; turn right at the blinking light just past the Alsatian Inn; veer left on CR 4516. Course is 2.5 miles down on the right.

Very good!
I’ve played here several times and have enjoyed it each time. Practice range is excellent. I walked 18 yesterday and it was very enjoyable. Unlike some courses there is a discount for walking. There is a nice patio that overlooks 18 that is a nice place to have a beer or something to eat. Greens are in excellent condition and roll true. Enough slope to make it challenging. Traps are in good shape and the fairways are very good. I can recommend this course very highly. They also take COVID seriously as all staff wear masks and you must be wearing a mask in the clubhouse. 2 thumbs up!!

Awesome course
Just moved here from California and bought a house on hole number three!! Couldn’t ask for anything more the course is in great shape and the staff is just wonderful

Friendly Open Course, Rough Shape
Course is very open and forgiving. Good facilities. Easy hole layouts. The condition was pretty poor throughout, but playable.

Fairways need a lot water and care. A lot of the fairways were dry and hard. Greens were well kept.

Awesome layout.
The coarse has a great layout. Greens very fast. Slow play.
Thank you for the review! We appreciate your business. We had a 60 player outing yesterday morning and the last two groups were very slow. The marshal was on the last two groups trying to get them to speed up. I hope you were not too delayed! We have starters and marshals all day everyday and we try to keep the pace of play at 4 hours! Please come back and enjoy the Alsatian!

The course was overall in great shape. FAST greens! Staff members were friendly and all wearing face coverings. The food was delish and beer was refreshing. Social distancing is followed across the board, including all the responsible players. Thx for a great day. Marco G
