About
Alsatian GC is an 18-hole with water in play. Front side fairly open and flat, almost links type play. Hole 2 surrounded by waterways and bunkers. Back side is hilly and has lots of trees. Super finishing hole with a tree in center of uphill fairway.
Throughout the course you will find challenging and beautiful fairways lined with trees and Spanish Dagger. The course also offers distance wedge game range, practice bunkers, three-level putting green, and a pre-round putting green.
Lodging: The Alsatian Inn is located approximately two miles from the club. A very nice facility, it has ninety rooms, a swimming pool, and a really good restaurant. Children under the age of fourteen stay free.
Distance: About 30 minutes from downtown on Highway
90 West to Castroville. But worth the trip.... Take Highway 90 West through Castroville; turn right at the blinking light just past the Alsatian Inn; veer left on CR 4516. Course is 2.5 miles down on the right.

Alsatian is in good condition.
Considering the lack of rain the course is nice and green. The greens are a little slow but are in overall great shape.

Great course, but if you play on Sunday bring food. The restaurant closes early on Sunday….you know….the 2nd busiest day of the week for golfing

Course is in great shape carts need attention.
Really impressed with course conditions. Almost every cart however has a torn seat and my cart had a 2 second lag between pressing the gas and the cart engaging

I want to give 5 stars BUT ...
I couldn’t hit my putter hard enough to get my ball to the hole . Second time I’ve played here in two weeks and both times everything was awesome except the Oregon Trail greens. If ever the greens fill out this will be so much fun to play!!!

Heads up would have been nice
First off this is a great course! Layout is great, pace of play is generally good, price is fair, But they got me again with resoding the greens, sand was 1/4” deep on the greens. If I had known ahead of time I would have moved to another day instead of driving 40 miles one way. A simple heads up would have been nice.
