Mill Run Golf Club - Championship Wheel/Grind Course

MillRun is always able to keep up the standard of the course, no complaint as the fairways n greens are well maintained. A little hiccup however happened as Teeoff cancelled my booking instead of changing it from three to one player. Glad I kept the email confirmation n the staff was able to arrange a slot for us (have another friend as well). Another was I dropped my phone on the power cart without knowing it after returning the power cart. But the gentleman kept if for me n when I returned to look for it, he immediately identified me n gave me the phone. Have to extend my thanks to him.

Third time playing here this year and once again very enjoyable. Paired up with another twosome who were a pleasure to play with. Fairways were firm and good rolls were received. Rained steadily for about 10-15 minutes then sun re appeared

Better if more part of cart paths is paved so that carts following the leading cart are not eating dust! Very dusty!

Really enjoyed playing this course. The group had a great time and hopefully we will play here again before seasons end.

I used play around $75 per game when there is sale on Underpar, but not in last couple years.

For full price, it still okay given the conditions of the courses and the price of he game increased in general.

However, I suggest course mandate ride when player with handicap 20 or over. Today the foursome in front of us were walking and play from black. From the number of shots they made on each hole, I would say their handicap is way over 20.

They slow down everyone behind them.

Played this course for the first time and it won’t be the last. Played the grind on the front nine and the grist on the back. The grind is filled with tight fairways and elevations. As well with thoughtful shots off the tee. In my opinion a very fun way to play golf with not having to hit driver off every tee to be successful. The Grist is a more forgiving nine but not friendly by any means, it has wonderful views of the land everywhere you look.

I was paired up with two members who were great to play with and we shared a few laughs. They told me I have to try “The Wheel” the other nine featured on this course as it is a tough one.

We finished our round of 18 in 3 hours and 20 mins.

This courses staff was helpful and friendly.

Loved that they had a club washing stations at the range so you could clean your clubs after.

This courses conditions are in top notch.

Not one complaint from me, I’ll be coming back here as often as I can.

The pace was very good for Saturday. The greens was very slow . I like the course the wheel is the best.

The course is not easy. But very interesting. I like the course because I like challenge. I got an birdie in first hole and Eagle in hole #5. I am so happy for the course. Almost got a hole in one in hole # 8 in Grist.

Good pace of play for a holiday, everyone was friendly and course was in good condition. Layout was ok, a little tight with the other holes so if you can’t control your tee shots, be prepared to be yelling fore a lot.

Pace of play extremely slow, we had to skip a hole just to keep placing, still took about 4.5 hours. Marshal did not do a good job in speeding up the slow groups. Unsatisfactory experience.
