Turnberry Golf Club
About
Turnberry Golf Club may not have the length of its sister course located only 20 minutes away, Eagles Nest, but it has the same challenging character and unique layout. Molded from abandoned quarries, massive outcroppings of earth were recreated to look like the seaside dunes of Eagles Nest. This 3,400-yard, executive layout has sparse vegetation, generous green complexes, and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins and ends with a long par 4 with an interesting variety of par 3s in between. Each hole was designed completely unique from one another to emphasize variety and playability. At Turnberry Golf Club, golfers will be forced to use every club in their bag.

1 st hole par 4 Photo submitted by kyu462 on 06/09/2019
Good for Irons
The course is short and only has two Par 4s where you can use a driver. The course is well maintained with somewhat challenging holes.
Fun in the Rain
There was a complete downpour while I was playing and my playing partners quit on me. I played alone and enjoyed the course. It can be very easy to lose balls in the tall rough. Recommended.
Tough little course
Great course, small quite tough, tricky greens. Fairways were soggy from overnight rains, otherwise they are good. If you are not on the Fairways, you are dead, it is impossible to find the ball off the Fairways in the thick grass.
They don't have rental clubs, which was a big surprise.
Accuracy is tantamount
The rough is thick & lush.
Avoid it to improve your score!
Very good
Course is very nice and in good condition.
I have only one complain snd that is that
washrooms on corse was closed.
If washroom cannot be open for whatever reason,
They need to bring plastic washroom.
Few females ,
Including my wife, was very uncomfortable.
Cheers
Absolutely Awful Staff and Course
Disguised as a par 5 course, this course aims to fool you into paying $80 for a round of golf at a short course. The staff was incredibly rude, and the starters along with the Marshalls were not friendly, not allowing us to eat in the cart, not use the facilities mid round, as I had to leave the tee box, threatening to kick us off and keep our money, for using the washroom and grabbing a drink.
Nice executive course
Always enjoying this course as it's fun yet challenging especially due to windy condition which would make you feel like playing in St Andrew's in GB.
Good condition for this time of year
Played in quite cool weather. Course is in very good condition for November in Ontario except tee boxes, which is to be expected.
Only downside is what looks like animal (dog ?) feces on the course and pathways.
