Great Day to Play
Nice cool morning turned into a great day!. Greens are almost perfect. They aerated about 4 weeks ago. Fairways are still a little thin in some places and a few of the fringes around some greens are still thin. Overall, easy course to walk and rate was fair in my mind. I play this course multiple times a month. Staff is always friendly. If you play early on the weekends, pace of play is not bad. After 10:00 am though, it will be a 4 1/2 to 5 hour round.

Nice course. Greens are getting smoother after aerating. Flattest course around. Nice practice facilities.

Hadn't played in many years. Pro shop staff really friendly and helpful. Nice city course, we'll be back!

No mention of course conditions prior to booking
Course conditions were absolutely terrible. The greens so badly aerated that putting was nearly useless. No grass in the fairways either.
Horrible
When we arrived we found out we were going to play the back twice as they were "punching" the front. We were all seniors and got charged the full rate of 27.50 dollars. Then, the big shock, the back was also recently "punched" What we ended up with was impossible greens to putt. We finally gave up and took a maximum two putt on the bumpy and top treated greens, just so we could move on the course. At the turn we agreed to call it a day, There simple was no enjoyment to finish under the current conditions. We could have had the same golf experience if we had just gone to the driving range. I started to go back and ask tor a refund, but I was too MAD. Sad, because I have had really great experiences at this course in the past.
Marshall was a donley
Booked back to back tee times but 2 players didn’t show. The gentleman at the counter knew the situation and allowed us to play as a 5 group. On the 7th hole during the middle of a back swing the Marshall came up raised voice saying we couldn’t have a 5-some. We explained the situation and pointed out the group behind us was 3! Holes back we wasn’t slowing pace of play. After he drove off he returned on the 11th hole and proceeded to follow us staying 30-50yards back for the next 3 holes.
Usually Smyrna is excellent but the Marshall was a real pain in the (Yep) so will not be returning to Smyrna for a while.

Smyrna Golf Course
The golf course is in great shape. Greens are good and rolling true. Other than having some first timers who thought they were playing a PGA event, it was a lot of fun.

Great Course
The course is a very nice one to play and is challenging. The course has been in good condition both times I have played. I very much recommend this course.

Walkways a pleasure
Just rained so the course was wet, but it’s always excellent course. Wide fairways, smooth greens, and inviting bunkers lol
