Smyrna Golf Course - Executive Course

It was a beautiful day so we looked up tee times and 30 minutes to make it to the course and the staff worked with us to let another group tee off before us so we wouldn’t have to rush so much. Everything about the course was great except my putting. LOL

Greens were in great shape. Pace was also pretty quick.

This is my local course. And in the past couple years. Huge improvements on the greens. Great value course. And friendliest staff.

Rainy day, but still the course played well, unlike me..🤣

Course is not well maintained. The executive course isn’t worth the money.

Fairways clumpy not grown in. Need seeding. Greens in good shape

Fairways hard, dry, and dormant. Greens above average. Never disappointed with this course.

That sparse weedy green stuff from the tee box (dirt box?) to the putting surface is NOT grass.

I learned to golf here in 2019, have visited back a few times over the years. This is the worst the fairways have ever been. The green are okay. They have grass which is good. Tee sheets are still fully booked so no need for them to make any changes I guess. Our round was just a little over 5 hours.

The course was in much better condition than it has been in the past. the greens had been aerated a week or so prior, and they are growing in nicely. Not as many ball marks as in the past, decent pace on the greens. Fairways are still waiting on some pasture grass to grow in , and several tee boxes were basically dirt.

The good - the layout. This is a beautiful track with some challenging holes and several "take a minute and look at it" views of the course. Teh design is really one of my favorite ever, just needs some seed and some attention.

Good course for the money, just seems to be struggling in attention to the grass on the course.

Pretty mid course, very unmemorable with slow pace of play, got a hot deal for 18 but could only get through 9, didn’t ask for a rain check because I don’t see myself coming back.

The greens were fast and true excellent for the 5th of Feb. also best deal in the county

Pace of play was very slow due to beginners lack of ethical golf understanding.Marshal fixed the problem and we skipped one hole ahead. Greens are as good as I’ve seen them, great job for the maintenance personnel. Fairways need work and I don’t see a plan to improve them, it is what it is.
