Could fix a few things to make it an excellent course
The pace of play is very slow because they either over book or let too many people pay to play around other tee times. And the greens are in very poor shape. They recently aerorated the greens so putts bounced around on the way to the hole and when not aerorated they are not watered correctly and often so they are very dry and hard. If they could fix those issues the course would be fantastic

Nice course
Pace of play was slow on the front, foursome would not let us pass on 8am tee time & took almost 5 hours. Fairways were nice & greens were quick that rolled smooth. Tee boxes in good shape but were a little long and needed to be cut shorter.

Fun golf
I enjoy playing there good fairways good greens just a little slow but in good shape

Smyrna National
The course was in good shape except for some of the greens where inconsiderate players had not repaired ball marks.
The fairways were cared for.
The price was reasonable. As a Senior player, I payed $29.00 which is in line with other local courses.
I will go back and play frequently.

All the employees are great
Great people in the clubhouse and the guys who get the carts ready. The Marshals are good keeping the pace.

All of the guy’s and ladies that work inside are great. The marshals are too also.

A very nice, interesting course.
This is my home course. As a new player ( 4 years so far ) I’ve not seen dozens of courses, but I’ve played some gorgeous ( Sedona CC ) and some “not-so” in my travels.
Smyrna has very nice grass, tees, and greens. The grounds crew work VERY hard to maintain it year-round and really do an excellent job.
The clubhouse is staffed w some great people whom I have come to respect and consider my friends.
If there could be any drawback at all is the cart paths. As a city-owned course, redoing the paths seems to be low on the agenda at City Hall. They’re not BAD, but a little money would make a big difference in this great, fun course.
I just wish I could get my drives better!
