Blackstone Golf Course

Blackstone this year the fairways were rough and little grass. some of the holes are interesting to play and about 6 holes are average. I enjoy playing the course do to different holes which are not easy. You get good value for your money and I live in Canada and have played this course for the last 6 years at least 6 times over a 2 month vacation. (jan\Feb)

We played best ball. We are all very senior players who have enjoyed the game for many years. Now its more about just getting out and having fun. This couse sets up nicely for our game.

Thank goodness for my GolfNow deal. Paid a great price so I traveled an hour over there to play it for the forst time since I heard the greens were in good shape. They are. putted well and true, good speed and the practice green was in fine shape. Gabriel behind the counter was pleasant and accomodating, range balls were reasonably priced. On the negative side..... the pace of play was not only excruciating it was unacceptable. We turned the corner on hole #8 only to see three foursomes ahead of us on just that one hole. BOTTOM LINE: the golf course is way to difficult for the snowbirds that are out there playing it. Period. This is a low handicapper's golf course. Even the guys I was playing with were taking triples and quads, sometimes picking up. I left after nine holes, but I'll be back if I can get an earlier tee time. Anyway, Thank-You Golf Now. I love being a member.

The course was in terrible shape. Greens still had not been cut at 10 am. Back 9 was a bit better but not good by any means. I do believe this course has the ability to be a great course because of the views and the layout. You have two choices be a great course or be a value and it was clear this course was trying to be a value

All of our foursome are in their 80's so we play a best ball game each week. This is really enjoyable. This course sets up well for our game. Lets us shoot under par most rounds like the pros.

Course is not in the best shape (fairways) but remember this is Feb not June. Greens are slow but hold very well. Most of the holes are very challenging and enjoy playing this course for this reason. Price was excellent thru Golf Now and even without golf now pricing is not bad. The only negative is the location.

As the grass grows it is improving. Fairways still have a lot of winter kill and many areas that need to be filled in. But it is an enjoyable course.

Fun to play this not usual Florida course. Lots of elevation.
