Windswept Dunes Golf Course
About
Windswept Dunes Golf Club tumbles across a dramatic landscape covered with white sand dunes accented by lush green fairways. The golf course appeals to players of all skill levels thanks to player-friendly features that are balanced by strategically placed hazards. Although each hole shares the characteristic of being lined with dunes, they each maintain a unique character. The rolling fairways are often wide and generous off the tee and the sand dunes, which stretch from tee too green, are only punishing of the most errant of shots. The approach shots though are as demanding as the tee shots are forgiving. There are numerous bunkers fiercely guarding the large, smooth greens. While the occasional water hazard comes into play, the bunkers are the most challenging element of Windswept Dunes Golf Club.

Beautiful layout but greens are in horrible condition at this time 😔. Staff was very nice and helpful. $12 for a small bucket of balls is absolutely ridiculous. Would not recommend this course at this time but once the greens have come back I would highly recommend.
Great Course and perfect weather
Love the layout of the course and tips from the starter. Greens had no grass on them so putting was extremely challenging, but I guess that was the case due to the time of the year??
Practice facilities are really awesome, but for what they charge the range balls should be included. $12 for 20 or so balls seems a little much to me.
Regardless I love the course and would definitely include this in our courses to play when visiting the area.
Very enjoyable
This course is laid out nicely. There are many tee box options to choose from. It’s a challenging course with all three sand traps and the water hazards. The greens were very quick . The staff were all super kind, and eager to help. Great time!
Great course
Raining to start the round but after the first couple of holes it was done and we were off. The fairways are really forgiving and the number of tee box options leave many different lengths the which you can play from. Greens are large and even though you hit one you may still have a lot of work to be done. The rain must have scared many golfers off because we waited on no one nor were we pushed at all. Just a very good experience. Thumbs up for sure. Will definitely be back
Great course for long hitters!
Beautiful challenging layout. Really long course the big hitters will enjoy the wide fairways and challenging bunkering. Even from the front white tees for old guys like me, it was 6000 yards. Tips were almost 8000. Friendly staff great conditions. Could have used a beverage cart.
Great Course
The course was challenging but fair. Generous landing areas off the tee, not target golf. Greens were fast and undulating. If you are in the area it's definitely worth playing! Everyone in the clubhouse, starter to the rangers were super friendly and helpful. I played in the afternoon and the course was not busy so pace of play was excellent. One unique thing about the course is when you are on a hole you cannot see any other holes.
Windswept Golf
fantastic golf course, greens were perfect and running 11 on stimp meter.
will definitely be back to play it again.
Well maintained course.
Nice course layout, greens were excellent and traps were well maintained. Challenging course but multiple tee boxes for every skill level.
Great
This course is the one of best course I have played in their last 4 years! Would play everyday if I could!
Hidden Gem in the Panhandle
This was my first time playing the course after having it recommended to me by many people. The initial greens fee has kept me from playing ($135), but after getting a hot deal, I can say this is the nicest course in the panhandle. The course is immaculate and well kept. It offers 7 different tees for players of all skill levels. If there is any negative, and it's not a negative in reality, the greens are undulating to a level where it feels like you are almost playing goofy golf. Most greens do not have a large flat spot on them, so be prepared for hard breaks and lots of movement.
Oh, and the course is perfectly laid out to mix with nature.
With that said, I will be trying to play this course as much as possible.
One of the Best in Panhandle
I have played there about a half dozen times. I had family and other guest in town for festivities in the 30A area competing with Fall Break and Wine Festival and tee times were a premium. Windswept was a perfect balance with experienced, recovering, less than 5 year golfers, quality and price. Condition was great (after morning rain with good drainage), layout well balanced for golfers from relative beginners to Palmer wannabees, Ken and the staff in the club house make this a must play. I have lived and played all throughout the US and Europe. Give it a try regardless of your level.
Fun and Nice Course
The course was in great shape and a fun layout. The GPS on the carts was nice so we could judge where to aim, as there were quite a few blind tee shots and it was our first time to play. Course conditions were great and the pace of play was really good, although we played mid week. I highly recommend this course.
5 1/2 hour round. What a joke
I will never play this course ever again. They completely overbooked the course and it was absolutely absurd. If you want to waste 5 1/2 hours of you life play here.
Nice track.
Overall conditions were good. Greens were pretty slow. They rolled fine just slow. Course Layout is good.
