About
The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

Home course
I play hear a lot since it’s close to my house but this course is mostly in great condition I’ve had very few times we’re the greens we’re rough but it’s a great course
Poor Customer Service and Conditions
We were given an online rate but when we showed up to the course they said there was a glitch in the system so they charged us more. Additionally, the course had recently been aerated but they did not state that on their website, nor when we arrived. I emailed the course twice but have not received a response. The whole experience was extremely disappointing.

Great course for the money and well kept. Too many boozers that don't keep pace of play.

Not a happy camper
The reason I say not a happy camper is the group I was with two of us are veterans and used to be members at this golf course back before it was sold to this group who has it now. We both are disabled vets service connected and this course doesn't have handicap flags and we encountered an issue with the Marshall cause we pulled up inside of the cart sign nowhere near the green and was harassed so I don't know if I'll be going back, I think that's not good that handicapped individuals aren't given the ability to go inside the cart sign and no handicap flags are given others courses do that are better than this one. So that'sy opinion and I'm sticking to it.

The greens had just been punched. Didn't receive any warning about it and there was no discount for it either. Cool.

I have an incomplete experience since they just started their aeration process yesterday. Front nine was closed so we played back 9 twice. It had rained the previous day and in the morning so the greens were very receptive. Course was in good shape even with the wet conditions. I’d play here again. Not a long course but I like the setup. The people I played with told me that the greens are usually lightening quick and that the rain makes a huge difference.

Nice golf course
The golf course looks better with the trees cut down, several of them were dead and or dying. The course looks more open on several fairways. The greens make this course they are no joke, bring your putt game. The course is in the best shape I've seen it. Go Play!!!!

Second time, still good.
This course is fun to play. This is a "target golf" type of course. It's not a long course but the greens run fast and have a good amount of pitch to them. You really want to be below the hole on this course. Some long par 3's. Course knowledge helps as there are some blind shots that have trouble. A range finder is a must for your first time.

Tricky fast greens...
A few greens are in need of some serious ball mark repairs, especially #5 and #8. Course is in terrific, lush green condition with consistent rough all around. Some HUGE carp in the ponds and I saw the resident turtle today too.

Little bit of everything
This course has a little bit of everything. Some holes you can break out your driver. But overall you will need to play shot placement. This course is shorter at a 68 par but the two rounds I’ve played here my score was higher than my typical handicap. The greens were fast both times I played also. Overall a fun course to play.
