About
The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

Neighborhood course
Nice municipal course. Small driving range and I didn't like that you had to pay for your golf balls even though you were playing 18 holes. Friendly staff! Nice golf carts!
Cart
NOt like paying ten dollars more getting cart by myself. You do this all the time. Why? I golf like 6.00 am. You have plenty of carts. Other guy I not ride with pays only normal rate not ten dollars more. I live on golf course and see many golfers have cart to them selves. I play other courses never have to share cart. Example Green Valley Ranch and Indian Tree in Arvada. Golf course at Heatherridge nothing special about it.
I played golf in Scottsdale for 8 days and mountain courses in Colorado and never have to share cart.

Best bang for the buck
My buddies and I love to play the twilight times after work on either Tuesdays or Thursdays. You can’t beat the value.
The grass is surprisingly well maintained and the course conditions have never been an issue. It’s a basic course, but that’s fine for a weekday round.
It’s nice to have the bar upstairs for a beer afterwards on occasion. Not a bad spot for a football Sunday either.
I would recommend.

Great Round of Golf
Such a great place to play! Not overly long, but really calls for good shots into their greens. Staff is very helpful and conditions are fantastic! I would recommend this course for any level golfer.

Pro shop staff ruins it
I have played here 4-5 times this year. It’s not a good course but with how difficult Colorado tee times are getting it seems like the last resort most days. I had a truly horrible experience with the pro shop today. My tee time was at 2:42 and I walked in at 2:42. I KNOW I AM IN THE WRONG. Of course I should have been there earlier but circumstances prevented that. As I went to check in, Patti at the front desk laughed and pointed to the first tee saying she just gave my spot away. Even then, I admitted blame and asked if there was anything she could do. She told me to stand aside while she helped others. I checked back 5 minutes later and she said because I booked through GolfNow that this wasn’t her problem.
As I walked out of the pro shop, Patti called on the intercom public for the whole driving range to hear “maybe try not being late next time”. I could expand on the interaction but patti’s boss has the full complaint on file now.
Please, regardless of how badly you want to get out and play, don’t spend your money here.

Pleasant surprise
Greens and fairways were in great condition. Used a golf cart that was clean and ran great. Course layout was a parkland type with parallel fairways and tee boxes close to greens. Great value for the price, did not expect it.

hidden gem
greens were fast and the undulations were subtle. it was good challenge. i walked and that was a bit much but id walk again…it was a fair test of golf intermingled with the condos.. ill definitely be heading here again. worth the money and your time. pace of play was good for a friday

Very tight course, lots of balls hit at us
First time playing Heather Ridge. Course was in good shape for the most part. This is a small course in the sense that some of the holes were squeezed in between others. At the tee box on the back side par 3 we had a group teeing off directly into us from the next hole. Not much room and had people yell Fore multiple times in the round. Most of the course is lined with homes. Very close to holes so you must be accurate. Did have a ground crew refuse to move from in front of a tee box and stated that he "trusted us" to hit it over him. Not a great experience.

Simple course.
Not much mystery with this track. See the flag and swing. Was in decent shape, pace was great and prics was acceptable. Close to Denver tech center where we are staying. It was fine. No complaints.
