About
The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

Great weekday round!
Perfect weather for 16 holes... then the storm formed and ran everyone off the course!?!?!
This course is in great condition and the greens are as true as they can be and will be for the season.

Fun public course
The golf course was in good condition. It’s a very nice course to walk. It surprisingly has quite a few water features and a few challenging surprises. Some of the fairways are narrow, encouraging straight drives and second shots. The greens were consistent and in good shape. I would recommend this course to new and experienced players.

Great day
It was a great day. Everyone had fun and the weather was great. The ranger was not very friendly or helpful. We were on the 17th hole with no one pushing us and he came by to tell us we need to hurry our play because we were 2 holes behind. Not sure how we could be 2 holes behind when we were on the green for 17 with no one waiting to tee off. Unless he wanted us to play his 19th hole... Grumpy old man that ruined the final couple of minutes of the day.

Great experience can't beat the price
Course wasn't really good shape with all the rain that has been falling rained on US during the round cart path only of course greens were very true and smooth t-boxes were nice overall a really good experience staff and Marshall were very nice pace of play excellent can't beat the price highly recommend

Pleasantly surprised
Did not have high expectations for this public course, but was very surprised. The greens were in better shape than most of the courses I have played in denver. The 2 guys I was paid with were great guys. The course is short- even from the back tees, but you know that going to the round. Will definitely play it again. Happy with the course. Shot 3 over.

Good course
This is a shot placement course that is pretty short. Great course to work on your iron and short game.
I’d play here again. Especially cus the greens are fast and I enjoy that.

Quite unimpressive
Short course, overpriced for the quality. Fences slammed against multiple tee boxes makingnit fairly difficult to Even hit the fairways in the ideal landing ares for the holes.
Patrons that dont even yell Fore when they hit a shot towards people. My cart was hit as we were leaving the tee on 13 or 14, the uphill 220ish par 3 and when i got to the par 3 green across from the next tee which they were still on there was only a mere wave to me. No sorry, or, we lost it in the air.
Basically seems like just a drunk persons course.

Nice Layout
Played a day after heavy rain which the course handled well. Pro shop staff great. Paired with a regular who helped with strategy of tees. Lots of housing through most of the course is a little constricting, but makes you be more focused on accuracy.. Noonan’s for a 19 th hole felt like a local pub. Nice 19th and nice layout
