About
The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

It is to be expected at this time of year that the greens will not roll true. Having said that, the grass was in good condition just very bumpy

Easy to get on, affordable, fun track
I play this course all the time and have recently rated courses in Vegas, other more fancy ones but when I rate, it is all about the fun vs. cost and this is 5 starts almost each time. It is not fancy and fairly easy but a few holes will mess you up. People here are always laid back, greens were in great shape for 4/1, $17 for a twilight till late is awesome and it is a great walking course.

Greens and golf course in general are in better condition than courses that are substantially more expensive

Good value
First time playing here and enjoyed it. The course isn’t long at all but it has some tight areas that make you choose different clubs. Will definitely book again.

Not bad
For beginning of March, this course certainly wasn’t bad. As others have said, the Marshal really seems like a “get off my lawn” guy. If you aren’t very confident in your tee shots, definitely recommend hitting a few balls first at the range (irons only) as many homes are quite tight. I nailed a house for sure lol. Lucky it wasn’t a window shot. Would be a good course to walk for some exercise and practice. Some of the shots were pretty tough and I liked that! Overall, for the price, I thought it was a decent value. Anyone that says it’s too much hasn’t played much outside the city… Not a destination course but worth playing if in the area.

The Golf Club at Heather Ridge is a hidden gem⛳ it has a wonderful layout with tricky greens .The staff here is impeccable, they're not only friendly but they accommodate I would recommend this course to any level of player and they have a wonderful junior program each year!
