About
The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

1st Time @ Heather Ridge
Overall great time... Fathers Day busy, so play was jammed up several holes
Not bad for the price
We enjoyed the day of golf. While some courses are a real challenge to get into, we were able to book this one the day before which I appreciate. We only had time for 9 holes and played the back nine.
The greens were super fast. The course had a nice layout. The staff were diligent and got the job done.
We will look forward to playing a full round here soon.

The best value in golf
As always another great time at Heather Ridge GC. Friendly staff, really good pace of play and even the course Marshall's where helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this course, great value

Executive length course with really fast greens
Course still needs some time growing back in no deference between fairways and the rough. Greens were a little fast for some of the slopes guys I played with were all nice,had a good time.

Poor Experience Overall
Wildly slow, course isn’t in great condition, and topping it all off was pretty rude staff.

Got pelted by the family behind us
We arrived early, warmed up and were called to the tee box early because the group in front of us had not shown up yet. On the first hole, we were alarmed when a ball was hit over our heads from behind. It proceeded to happen at least eight more times during the round despite our asking them not to, politely at first, and then rather heatedly at the end. Never once a “fore” was uttered. It was a mother, father, and their two 10 to 12 year old sons, and they all seemed to be doing it, go figure. The fathers rationale was that the group behind was pressuring them! Play was incredibly slow. The foursome two groups ahead appeared to be very slow. No Marshall was ever seen during the 18 holes. It was probably the worst round of golf I’ve ever played due to the rudeness and abandon of safety from the group behind. The course was in good shape, pretty and well laid out, however, a bit short at less than 6000 yards and condos and townhomes lined every fairway.

Carts in at 7:45
I booked an 18 hole tee time including a cart thinking I could use the cart for the whole 18 but the carts have to be returned at 7:45p so I didn’t get to finish my round

Perfect weather for 16 holes... then the storm formed and ran everyone off the course!?!?!

Fun public course
The golf course was in good condition. It’s a very nice course to walk. It surprisingly has quite a few water features and a few challenging surprises. Some of the fairways are narrow, encouraging straight drives and second shots. The greens were consistent and in good shape. I would recommend this course to new and experienced players.

Great day
It was a great day. Everyone had fun and the weather was great. The ranger was not very friendly or helpful. We were on the 17th hole with no one pushing us and he came by to tell us we need to hurry our play because we were 2 holes behind. Not sure how we could be 2 holes behind when we were on the green for 17 with no one waiting to tee off. Unless he wanted us to play his 19th hole... Grumpy old man that ruined the final couple of minutes of the day.
