About
The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

Dimond in the rough golf
Been going here since 2017 and close to the house.. easy access off the I-225 highway. with the upgrade on at the club house and added amenities on the course. always been a good course to play. Bring new friends and business partners here is worth the drive.

Pro shop attendant with head in the sand
14 YO Niece in town and I wanted introduce her to golf. Wanted her to ride along with me; pay two cart fee’s and one green fee/ he said no they don’t allow it. Called foothills and they welcomed us. She ended up moving the game. Way to go want a be pro. Missed a chance to make a difference in a kids life.

NEVER PAY MORE THAN 20 bucks with cart
This course charges 52 dollars with cart which I would is insane. I paid 29 thinks to tee off and was still upset.
Course was horrible. Divots not fixed from two summers ago. No tee box markers. Greens are god awful and not cared for. 50 dollars they try to charge. One of the worst courses in Denver and might be the worst 50 dollar course in all of colorado. AVOID.
We are sorry you feel this way, but we do hope you'll give us another try in the future.
No cancellation
I went to heather ridge for my tee time and they were closed. I wasn’t able to play but was more upset that they never cancelled my reservation to tell me that the course is closed.

One of my go to spots to get in a round. Always really well-priced. It's a solid course, challenging and rewarding holes, and fun too.

Better brush up on the law...
Heather Ridge is one of those courses snuck into a community as a great amenity but... be careful...
The settlers are restless... yes, the homeowners in and around this course can be hostile, to say the least.
In my rounds here this past season, I've seen (regrettably), a naked balcony parrot owner, an oblivious walker using the course as his own personal park, and consistent threats of legal action if you are even ten yards around the homeowner on the dogleg of #7.
Course-wise, fun course but you'd better be in control of your tee shots and approaches because this track is tight and homes abound on most holes. Good Luck!

Driving range is irons only
The cart was included thru Tee Off .com. Heather Ridge charged me $10.00 for me to ride by myself and not ride with someone that might have covid. The course greenskeeper put everyone of the pins on ridiculous side humps which made putting impossible.
