About
The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

Experience At Course
I took my son and one of our employees to the golf course we had a 2 o'clock team time when we arrived at the course the Pro shop staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We purchased range balls and practiced putting.
Our tee-time started promptly and we found the golf course to be in overall good condition. We had never golfed this course before and found it moderately challenging obviously the next time we play it we will be more prepared for the layout making club selection easier. The beverage cart staff came around three times and they were all extremely polite and friendly. If I was going to have anything negative to say we believe that the group in front of us smoked cigarettes because on six of the greens we found cigarette butts. This obviously was not the course's fault but the rude group of golfers in front of us. We will absolutely put this golf course on our list to play again.

Good value, friendly staff, nice course
It’s an inexpensive city muni with super tight OB lines. Apartments and condos line almost every fairway. Hit’em straight or cringe and wait for the sound of a shattering window. Despite that, overall the course is in good shape; the greens roll true and, even though it’s a short course, several holes require long, shaped drives. Have fun, keep up with the group in front, and keep your expectations reasonable.

Interesting course
It had interesting holes. Some were a little shot but most of the par 3's were challenging

Good course
Greens were great, bunkers could use some work, very "hard" sand, not very long but a number of uphill shots to the greens. Enjoyed the round but pace of play somewhat slow on front nine, just over 2 hours :20 minutes while back was played in 1hour and 20 minutes.
I would return to play it again, friendly staff.

Houses line the course
Houses and condos line the course, and there are signs all over stating that the golfer is responsible for any damages. I’m not talking about shots 50 yards left either, but more like 15 yards off line. I had a lady come out asking for insurance info and harassing me because I pushed my drive. Now obliviously I gave her no information, because it’s not against the law to hit bad golf shots. If it were I would be In trouble. So I guess if you hit everything straight it’s a great course. I’ll make sure to recommend it to Phil and Tiger. The staff was very friendly however, but I’ll never play it again for the obvious reasons.

The staff went out of their way to make accommodations for two of us over 75 of age. It was very, very much appreciated.
