Heather Ridge Golf Course

The best memory was the friendly staff. I will be back because they treat you like they are glad you were there. The course is challenging, lots of water, sand and best of all fun. The golf course was in excellent condition--Fast Greens, fairways like carpet, but you had better hit them straight.

Very nice staff the courseis in good conditionplay was nonstop hole to holeand all I can say is that they could use more layout description pearl home on every holeon the play cards no yardages markers don't know what club to use to lay upand no yardages to the water or creaks etc

This was a great course for 1 out of stater & 2 out of towners; however, have never dealt with such unfriendly staff. I have played so many courses in Nebraska which blow this staffs courtesy out of the water. From marshal telling us we are on pace at hole 8 to being told on hole 15 that we need to speed up our remaining holes because we exceeded the pace time. It took us just over 4 hours & pretty much drove the last few holes only. We never had anyone waiting on us but did let 2 2-somes pass us as they had hit the tee box while we arrived to our balls. Anyways, I understand we are all recreational golfers out to have fun & one person had only golfed a couple times but Heather Ridge experience left a sour tastes in our mouth. We adhered to golf etiquette but just took quite a few more hits. I understand pace play is set, however I'm.sure it does get broken as it did in our case unfortunately. I understand if we were holding groups up but we never did & courteously let 2 groups pass without hesitation to slow them up. It was a great course to play, staff could've been more professional.

they paired us with 2 that did golf now too. its a cool tight little course , someone always hits a house if not everyone.good deal.

The holes are pretty short but narrow and the greens are difficult. My only complaint was that the houses were too close in some places, and I was OB when normally I wouldn't have been. Lots of water hazards.

Staff is very friendly and polite. The fairways are wide but the greens are where your score will be determined. The course has a couple of odd holes... ie. #6 but the others are fair. The club house is old and in need of renovation. But the value is well worth it!

as a beginning female golfer it was a fun challenge. Cant wait to play again

Strange cart path/ drainage ditch in poor condition. Long bumpy ride. Soft, fast greens, with lots of undulations.

Pros: price, course conditions, availability, customer service.

Cons: worst cart paths ever. Brand new carts but a bumpy ride.

My experience with this course continues it's consistency. Horrible outside service, lazy and rude. Very friendly check in service...gal in pro shop is extremely welcoming and nice, (and hot) rude dude inside continues to cut off conversations and is absolutely worthless at keeping up the pace of play. Restaurant service is ridiculous. Who wants to go to a restaurant where all they ever do is sit outside and smoke, then serve your food with out washing their hands. Beverage Cart service, I saw once on 18 holes and that was at the turn.
The golf course, however is in great condition. If you are going just for golf, I recommend, if you are going for service and golf, go somewhere else. Horrible management!!

The course was WAY over booked and not enough time to play each hole with 3 teams backed up on us. I would not recommend this course or go back here.

The greens were in very good shape, but the atmosphere was merely average. I would describe the experience as a whole as average. It is exactly what one would expect out of a municipal course.

Middle of the pack course but the price was great.

This was the first time at this course but the treatment we received was awesome. The course layout was fun and challenging and the day we played the hole placements were tough. My foursome played 18 holes in 4 hours.....we could have gone faster if we were better golfers.

This course was very lackluster with outdated facilities and unmanacured grounds. The cart paths and parking lots need serious attention and the course was bumpy which made the ride on the cart very uncomfortable. I play golf to relax, enjoy the outdoors and a beautiful course. My my experice at Heather Ridge was quite the opposite. Let's just say my time at this course was my first and definitely my last.

The course was well maintained overall. Very fast greens on the particular day we went. A couple of the other golfers were very friendly but can't blame that on Heather Ridge. I would definitely play there again.

Good course with lots of water...and lots of housing.

Not worth the money and the staff is ridiculously rude. Also, the layout of the course is stupid. You end up teeing off directly beside people 7 holes on front of you (literally 10 ft beside them). Don't waste your money or your time!

My friends and I were thoroughly enjoying our round until the Marshal exploded on a group without warning. Pace of play was slow, but to watch a marshall verbally abuse a customer was inconceivable. Come to find out that the Marshall is the Business Manager at the course was worse. Apparently he doesn't know about golf and/or doesn't care about the business. The inside staff was fabulous. Other than the incident, we enjoyed our round amongst us. I would rather take my business to a course that has ettiquite.

We had a fun day, my wife and I. Had played many years ago when it was a private golf course, so no comparison. It is shorter than most, yet challenging. For the most part the fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Some confusion as to distances from the blues off of the course markers vs the card. For a quick round of enjoyable golf, it is great value! Played in the afternoon as a twosome, so play was speedy. The biggest challenge is the upkeep of the place. It looks tired, and unmaintained on the cart paths and around the clubhouse. They are refurbishing a lot ofit, so should be better later on. Not sure about the paths -- hard to stay on them around the tees and greens as suggested because of the potholes and erosion!
