Nice course
We were in el Paso visiting and played horizon a couple times. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the course was in good condition. We would play again.
Great course
Over seeded fairways. Greens were fast. Enjoyed our round
Good course. Bad greens.
Course fairways are in fantastic shape. They over seeded and fairways and aprons are amazing. For El Paso, this is fantastic as most other courses just let their fairways go dormant. This attracts a lot of golfers, which made for a slow round. (Used ro playing in under four hours.) The greens are in very rough shape though. They are very thin and still riddled with poa. Their tee boxes leave a lot to be desired too. Over seed didn’t take well on tee boxes and a lot of them are very uneven and thin. Some of them were sanded over. If they would address these two things, it’d be the best course in town. Cart girl was also very aggressive in trying to get customers to buy alcohol.

All was great however greens were punched. Made putting a bit tough. I can live with that.
Great course
I’ve been playing this course for many years and it has never been better than it is now. The change of ownership over the last few year has drastically improved the course conditions and it seems to only be getting better and is a very well maintained course. Only issue we experienced was a couple rude and obnoxious golfers ahead of us, but that’s not the courses fault. Definitely a go-to course for me not only because of location convenience, but because it’s always a great time playing on this course.
Nice overall course and experience
There were some bad patches of fairway here and there, but overall good grass in fairways and greens. Greens were not consistent, and lots of unfixed ballmarks. Not too difficult, but some of the par 4s were long and hard to reach in 2 shots even with a good drive.
Good remodel.
I used to play this course before I move to Arizona, since its the best bang for you buck. I remember that before the course was not well taken care of, but after a year the course has changed exponentially. The one thing I have always hated here is the customer service, for some reason every time I play here I feel like they are doing us a favor for being there.

Course was outstanding. The greens are still a work inprogress but overall I had a great round of golf. I highly recommend this course and booking your tee time via Golfnow.
Great value course
This course has changed quite about over the last few years bringing it up to today’s quality. Still a low cost course to play, but offers decent challenges, a good layout and is in pretty good condition. The tee boxes need a little work as they have seen a heavy work load the past month or so. Greens and fairways are in good condition.
