Albion Ridges Golf Course - The Granite Nine

The day I played the course we had a ton of rain over night but the course drained well and was less wet than I expected it to be. Greens are always smooth and quick. A great straight forward layout.

This course has it all. Beautiful rolling hills, and farm scenery, nice, playable holes with good variety, and very friendly people.

This course is always in good condition. I usually use it as a warm up for my first round of the year since it's not too difficult (except for the new nine-Boulder?)
It's a bit of a drive from Wayzata, but afterwords I usually stop at the Mill Creek Inn in Buffalo for a beer and dinner.
The greens were in great condition.

Conditions were not the best after a large rainfall. I have played this course a few times and play can be a bit slow. Followed a group of five. Play slowed to a crawl.
Great country course, well worth the drive. Unbeatable price for a course this nice. Definitely will be playing this course many times when I am in the area. 27 holes.

I played on a Monday early afternoon and was able to complete my round in under 3 hours. Greens were in fantastic shape; the best greens I've played in years. Fairway and rough was also in excellent shape. Value is very good with many good online rates. It is well worth the drive to Albion Ridges. Go play!!

This course is a new favorite of mine!! With 27 holes to play you get a different look each time. I played Rock and Boulder in a little over 4 hours and then decided to finish and play the Granite course to complete the 27 holes for the day. Met the owner Dennis Olson and he gave me some history of the course and even showed me an article that a person had written about the course a few years earlier. Wide open fairways make you feel like you are going to be in play even with a tee shot that isn't perfect. As other writers have noted, the greens are fast and in immaculate condition. I love the greens, fast but fair (even though I 3-putted more than a few). The setting for the course is wonderful, I feel like I'm back in my rural Minnesota roots. Staff was friendly and helpful. Come play Albion Ridges, you're missing out on a gem if you don't!!

Albion Ridges was in great shape and it was the first time I had experienced their Boulders nine which was a very entertaining layout. I will be going back soon !!!

Very Challenging course with manageable yardage and tough greens that are in solid shape. Plenty of hazards guard this course, a few blind shots mixed in as well. Fun course. I played Rock and Boulder, there's also another 9 holes at this course.

3 9's with not a bad hole out there. enjoyed the course layout, greens were in great shape.

Bombers delight on this track nestled in the cornfields of MN! Greens are severely sloped and impeccable - bring your a-game putting on these severely sloped large greens.

It's a good course in the fall not many leaves to lose a ball in, very good shape all around, very green fairways and great greens and if you get in the bunkers the sand is great to hit out of.

Greens were as nice as any I've ever seen! Fairways, tee boxes, etc are fantastic also. This course, while a bit of a drive from MSP, has to be the best value in town. Three nines provide plenty of changing scenery to keep you on your toes.
Clubhouse is basic/ no cart girl, etc are the only negatives.
If you just want great golf conditions at bargain prices, this is the course for you.

This is one of the best golf courses in the North West Metro, if you love to golf you need to play this course.

I have been playing this course for years now, the greens are perfect, the fairways are plush green and always nice and relaxing with 3 different nines to choose from! You will not regret this choice!

The white tees were more for seniors. Needed to move back to the blues after two holes. More trees on this course would make it more challenging. Hard to miss the fairways.

this course is one of the best maintained that I have played this year. the staff was super friendly and they let us play the third nine for $12.00

I shoot in the low 90's regularly so this is a fun course for anyone around that skill level. Nice wide fairways, tough sloping greens, and unique layout. Three 9 hole courses.
Course has character and personality. Genius idea to build a course with this layout. PLAY THIS COURSE!! You will come back. Nice wide open course that allows avg players to score well without being easy for the lower handicap golfers.

the courses are well kept and the greens are challenging. great place to play. you will sure enjoy playing on these courses regardless of your skill level.

Short course but in good shape and interesting oles.
