Well maintained, wide open, however smaller fast greens
Not a bad track. You think you can shoot one of your better rounds at this course because the couse is well maintained and pretty much wide open, but the greens are smaller, slick, and every pin seems to be either on a slope or crown. Worth the drive and playing.....however, there are very few flat putts on the course and the putting green does not reflect the true speed of most of the greens. So be ready ;)
Very well maintained course.
Albion Ridge is a great place to play. Length is respectable. Greens are smooth and roll true. Liked the elevation changes. Great variety to holes. First time playing the Boulder 9. Loved it. Would definitely recommended this course to golfers of all abilities.
Albion Ridges
Not pleased. I brought my disabled father out to watch me play and ride in the cart. When I told this to the young girl working in the clubhouse, she charged my dad full price as if he was golfing. I can understand a small surcharge, but not 28.50. Will not be back soon.
Great course
This course is great because players of all levels will find it enjoyable. There aren't a ton of areas to really get into lots of trouble but beware of the greens! They are hard and fast with multiple ridges and subtle breaks. I loved playing here and getting there and back was a breeze.
This course is a fair challenge for all golfers.
This course was in good shape with fast greens that were very receptive to approach shots. It is challenging for all handicap levels from low to high with four tee boxes.
Played the Boulder-Rock arrangement. I hadn't played the Boulder course before. I liked it - both 9's had great greens and fairways.
I'd recommend this course for play. I couldn't believe the rate using Golfnow.com.
Course was in good condition
I thought course was in good condtion and greens played tough.
Play was a little slow but this can be expected on the weekend.
I will definately play this course again and use Golfnow to do it.
Outstanding Value
Albion Ridges is an excellent experience and enjoyable from both a maintenance standpoint and superb layout. I've played there several times and enjoyed the course more with each outing. The staff is friendly and helpful and the course is maintained in excellent condition. The pace of play was steady and rapid and the course was challenging and has the feel of a links course. The greens were exceptionally well-maintained and quite quick. I would recommend the course to anyone willing to drive a few miles for an excellent golf experience.
Perfect conditions
Played the boulder and granite. Fairways are wide but the course is open to the wind. Greens fast and difficult. Pins were on slopes. Lag putting difficult. Fun course.
Nice place
Swing away, nice and open to take the stress of your drives
Very nice course-money spent on the playing areas, not the facilities
First time there, will return. They have paid good attention to the greens and fairways. Lots of specials for the budget golfer that loves to play but can't pay the higher cost of twin cities or brainard courses. They work hard to accommodate the individual player(ie don't force pair ups with strangers if can avoid it). Loved the overall experience.
A "must play" if in area!
Played Boulder-Granite. Both tracks superbly maintained. A must play if in the area. Check website for additional information and daily specials. Each tee box has detailed hole yardages on a layout graphic for hazards, etc.....very helpful if first time here or you don't use a GPS.
Great place to play. Pretty course. Challenging enough.
Albion Ridges is a very nice course, a short drive west of Minneapolis. Fairways and greens are in great shape, and the rough is thick but not high. Lots of ponds, marshes and elevation changes. The course is quite open with just enough trees to enhance the scenery. Each of the three 9s has a different look. The course is not difficult to walk if you want some exercise. Only a few holes require much of a walk from green to tee. I have played the course many times and have never been disappointed.

We paid full price but could have gotten a better price on the course's web site. It is a very nice course with an interesting layout. There are three 9's and I want to go back and play the 9 we missed.
Playable even after bad weather.
We always enjoy playing Albion. The course is always in great condition and we usually find tee times to accommodate our schedule.
The course has a very fun layout!
The course was in great shape and the greens rolled very true. It's not the most difficult course but I found it to have a real fun layout and a nice change in each hole...
Worth the Drive
Best bang for the buck in the Twin Cities area. Always well maintained, challenging layout, and beautiful to boot. I'm a fan. A+
27 superb greens; challenging but not brutal; big skies and cornfields: play it.
These people seem to know things about greenskeeping that most others don't even suspect. It does not matter the time of year, the greens are a joy to play. They are never slow and almost always give a true and decent roll. The course is with a few exceptions quite open, which means ordinary mortals like me (8ish hdcp) can hit a few shots off line and still be in the hole. There is good variety in the designs of the 27 holes, and the newest nine (Boulder) is a very interesting out and back over what must have been some kind of glacial wash area. This is course for golfers, a real gem. When you hit a good putt here you usually get a good roll. Trust me. Play this course, It will grow on you.
Course is always in very good shape, today greens where like carpet
played 11/04 course was in great shape fairway to green freshly mowed and greens where in excellent condition. Alway a challenging round of golf.
Changing landscape and scenery combined with rolling hills and not a house in sight
My dad and I play this course several times a year. We both feel it's an amazing value and the course is in great condition. They have an especially cheap deal to play 27 holes with a cart on Thursday's for only $34
