The layout is fun and the concept is very excellent but the condition of the course is terrible. Supposedly it was close for around 3 months or so to redo the greens and bunkers. We play two weeks after they I honestly can say that it looked like they did nothing to the course, the greens were bumpy and spotty, several bunkers were empty still, I would not recommend anybody and I certainly won't play there for a long while

Greens were much improved. Solid course with fun look at the best of the best.

Played because I got a huge discount. Course is in good condition except the greens which are in terrible condition. The best part of the greens are fair to put on, but don’t hold shots well. The worse part of the green are unputtable. Won’t be heading back, even for another huge discounted greens fee. Why they can’t hire someone to fix the greens is beyond me.

Great idea and layout, but the condition of the course isn’t $90 worth. $60 at most for the condition of the course.

This day was filled with extreme winds. I like the course but the greens were in fall conditions. Extremely slow with breaks that didn't happen. I will go back, but during the time of year when the greens are in top shape.

Save your time and money.

Most of the tee boxes were lumpy and torn up.

The fairways were soaking wet on the front for some reason (hasn’t rained in a week?). Plugged balls on fairway drives.

I’d say 50-60% of bunkers were marked as under repair. One entire par 3 looked like a construction site.

And the worst part - the greens, it felt like we were putting on gravel from my backyard. Bumpy and jumpy the entire way. Not a single smooth roll, and terribly slow - not sure if intentional but they weren’t rolled at all.

The course layout is fun and the staff was friendly. But gosh, for $75-100? Go somewhere else. Wish I would have.

Renovation are still in progress even though has reopened recently. Greens are still bumpy and some greens still have patches. Some bunkers and part of fairway are still under repair so it is not perfect yet. My biggest complain is the greens which are not really in good shape and not really worth the price even though layout is awesome.

They closed it down to make it better was excited to see the improvements. I didn't see any change in fact it got worse. 1 hole was under construction and about every other hole had bunkers under repair. Greens were full of sand and patches. I saw for weekend tee time there asking for 100 please do not waste your money.

given the fact the course has been closed for @ 2 months and I played the second day it was back open - i was expecting more improvements...

the tee boxes are generally better...

the fairways were reasonable..

but the greens had many bare/sanded patches - almost on every hole...

hole #5 is closed so only playing 17 holes...that hole doesn't look like it will be ready anytime soon

the driving range is better and the putting green is actually up and running now

i was hoping for more...

so i can't say there has been that much improvement...

This is still one of the most fun rounds in DFW. The course has really come of age and the new management it working hard to make this course a DFW must once again. The greens are 2-3 weeks from fall perfection. I will definitely be playing another round in mid to late October. My only complaint was that there was no beverage cart on a busy Friday.

Tee boxes and fairways were in good condition. Greens and bunkers are about to get and overhaul, so you were getting relief from bunkers and greens were dead, dry, and fast. Will be nice in about a year.

This course has a great course layout bu the practice area and the greens are horrific. I wish new management would take over and get the course back to what it used to be. The perfect course.

Clubhouse patio had weeds growing through the floor. Greens were scalped. Half the bunkers do not have sand. Course does not drain well. Course was still soggy after it rained two days before. $$$$

Conditions definitely getting better and a great layout. Most bunkers are shot currently, but that will change. Can only get better once they finish the planned updates over the next 3 months. K
