Tour 18 Dallas
About
Tour 18 Dallas is an ingenious compilation of the greatest golf holes in the nation, giving golfers the chance to play replica holes from 16 top courses. This one is tough -- not only because of the challenging and lengthy choice of holes that went into the design -- but especially because of the lightning-fast greens and challenging pin placements. While the conditions are probably accurate in terms of what the pros face each week, it can be quite humbling to shoot 15 strokes over your handicap because of 4- and 5-putts. The most recognizable holes at Tour 18 Dallas are the Augusta National Amen Corner replicas, which make up the final three-hole stretch.

Fairway project
I’ve always loved the layout…BUT the fairways are in the worst shape I’ve seen. New Sod is being layer in increments. Just close for a month and get the whole thing done! One price at a time is killing the reputation of what could be a great track! Rolling the greens from time to time couldn’t hurt either!
Condition of the green and fairway
One of worst condition I played in the Dallas area.
Need a total repair, worst condition ever.
Out of town visitor
The concept of the course is outstanding…recreate some of golf’s most famous holes from many world renowned courses. However, in reality, the course was in very poor condition. Soaked muddy soft fairways. But the condition was beyond a temporary rain…the issues were a lack of real restorative maintenance. As one example, The fairway on 16, first of the three recreation holes of Amen Corner, was a weed pasture. But even beyond the soaked conditions, tee boxes should not be uneven lies where sparse availability of green to put your tee in the ground is a weed patch. If the condition of the course was halfway decent, it would be a wonderful experience…but not worth the cost in current condition. Aside from that…every member of the staff was exceptional…friendly, helpful and informative. I hate to write this…but just being honest.
Could be a Great Course
This course could be so amazing, but has not been maintained at all. They have patches of sod in place like they’re trying to get it back to being good, but it’s not really helping. In all honesty, their best option is to close it down for several weeks while they get the course playable again. So much potential on this course, but very poorly managed.
You’ll still be disappointed!!
It’s been almost a year since they started to lose their fairways due to not repairing or replacing the irrigation pump timely, and the course is still pretty rough. Then their best rate was $69 during the week, and now they just raised the rate again around $90, with no 9 hole or discounted rate like EVERY other course around that has fairway and tee box grass.
They’re try with laying new sod, but it’s so sparsely placed, with mud and dirt everywhere, the greens are so bumpy and tee boxes are all weeds and yellowing from weed control and a third of the bunkers are unplayable.
The staff is great, but the course has a LONG way to go, and it’s definitely not worth anything close to what they’re asking and if they want some patrons they need to lower the rate, offer twilight or shut it down for a while to let it heal.
Great layout, but it’s a tough sell to anyone who knows the course.
Course is in a terrible condition
The course is in a terrible condition. Fairways are brown, Greens are slow and full of weeds, tee boxes look like waste areas. Stay away!
Unfavorable conditions
Tour 18 looks like it went bankrupt, even though it didn’t. Tee boxes made of weeds, fairways with pockets of no grass, unkept bunkers and bumpy greens. The absolute worse course conditions of any course I’ve played. No discount on today’s round, just a card for 20% off the next round.
Go somewhere else
The absolute worst course conditions of any golf course in DFW. Looks like they either went bankrupt or they stopped caring. Had high hopes, but fairways, tee boxes, greens and roughs were in terrible conditions. Going to take several years to get the course back in playing conditions.
Bad shape
Everything was under maintenance; the course looks like the management has run out of money has stopped maintaining it for the last 3-4 months
Not worth it
The course is in horrible shape. Fairways and Tee-boxes have little to no grass. The greens are SLOW and bumpy. Not worth playing.
Such disappointment
This is not my first time playing Tour 18. They did warn us when we checked in that they had lost their fairways over the 2023 summer. That was an understatement! The fairway conditions were terrible. Areas had been resodded but it was a fraction of the areas that were needed to be restored. They would have been better served redoing entire holes than the unusual, seemingly random areas that had been done on certain holes.
Sand traps were also ragged and sometimes sandless. The greens were bumpy, and in no way as smooth and speedy as one would expect of PGA Tour recreations. I would not recommend playing here again until ownership either makes a commitment to restore the entire course or reviews again make it sound like the conditions have been returned to the level expected of a golf course designed to honor the best holes on the PGA Tour.
Fooled me for the last time
I've been a fan of this course since it opened. What use to be magical has now turned into absolute garbage. I had not played it for about 18 months before this last visit. Figured they needed some time to restore it to its former glory. Despite perfect weather and a spring that has been filled with rain and an ideal growing environment, the course is simply unplayable. They are spot sodding and where they have not laid sod down is just mud. Greens are shaggy, filled with weeds and hallmarks. Bunkers might have sand or might not. Cart paths broken, cart stalled a few times during the round as well. Overall this is a course neglected by time. Because it has the island green and a few holes from Augusta, it will forever lure people to try it. Listen to me now and believe me later dont waste your time.
Course in poor condition
Heavily over watered around the greens, poor fairways, new sod in place in some places, but not everywhere it needs to be. In the same sand bunker, one area would be especially wet, while another was hard like a rock.
Very disappointed with the condition of the course especially based on the neighborhood it is in.
Needs too much work
This course is a disgrace. No fairways and greens aren’t much better. They are trying to add sod to some areas but the attempt is too little too late. The course should be shut down and worked on for at least a year to get it back to a playable condition.
Course needs help
The fairways have no grass still
Other courses growing
They did spend money on sod so that will help
In 3 months
Greens sucked really cannot blame course because no one fixed ball marks on green
Like playing on the moon
The course itself is a blast to play
Very challenging
