Bridlewood Golf Club
About
Designed by D.A. Weibring, Bridlewood Golf Course features a spectacular combination of links-style and traditional features as it snakes its way through the flat farmlands and terrain that seem to be specifically created for golf.
The front nine isn’t as rugged as the back, and its first few holes feel more residential than the rest of the course. Two holes stand out. No. 8 is all carry over water at 195 yards, followed by the monster -- a par 4 that demands one heck of a tee shot to avoid the water left and out-of-bounds right in finding the skinny fairway. Next comes a long, long approach that will have you begging for a bogey.

Awesome Course
The only downside and it is completely understandable is the pace of play. It was beautiful and absolutely perfect weather!!! Makes sense. Can’t wait to come out and play it again and beat my previous score.
Bridlewood - Pace of play
The pace of play on a Tuesday was so overwhelmingly slow that it soured the entire day. One group of 4 in front of the group of 3 playing ahead of us stalled the entire course. They were all playing from the tips and it was clear that they were all novice golfers. I phoned the pro shop on the 11th hole for a marshal. He came and did absolutely nothing about it. 5 singles decided to pass us and those two groups just to get ahead and to eliminate waiting. It took us 5.75 hours to finish our round. There was no beverage cart anywhere on the course. I will NEVER return to Bridlewood in Flower Mound, Tx..
Well run, good shape, good practice area
Pace of play was great for a Sunday 11:30 tee time. Finished in under 4 hours. Enjoyed the layout. Greens were slow, but in good shape. Lots of variety in layout. Only negative were the bunkers that were still muddy from previous rain. Highly recommend.
Excellent round
Course was in really good shape... got paired with a super nice couple. Great camaraderie and pace of play was perfect today which is so often the biggest disappointment in DFW. Kudos to the course for taking care of business.
Marshalls were apparent but not obtrusive. Beverage carts were frequent... nicely done!!
good quality course
this is a nice course.. hard to complain.. nice holes....greens are in above average shape..pace was reasonable.. starter was very nice...I will definitely play here again..
Good course condition
Green was nice. Fairway was fair. A few bunkers needed more sands. When I entered the pro shop and while I was approaching the counter an employee was staring at my eye saying nothing until I stoped and and said hello. I guess the rule of Bridlewood is customers greet the employees first.
Poor course management pace way too slow
My team time was at 1:45 and there’s was a tournament just 20 min ahead of our tee time. None the less there’s is no golf Cart left so we end up starting at 2pm.
The worse is the players from the tournament ahead of us, not only they play extremely slow, but also taken pictures on almost every back nine holes. A lots of drinking and we end up quitting at hole #14 as it Was already 6pm. Frustrated day. The club house should not have open Tee time that close to a tournament. Bad management. Not happy at all.
Very nice course
Played this with my wife on a golf trip in March 2019. Grass was dormant, but still present. I thought the course was very nice, staff was friendly. I"d golf again here in a heartbeat. GPS took me to a different location for some reason, so we had to ask directions in a residential neighborhood. Overall excellent experience!
Not worth the money
Cause was extremely wet. Driving range was closed. Cart paths only. Group behind us hit it’ll us twice without warning
Love this course, and excellent practice area
We played on a beautiful early spring day after months of cold weather, so I'd say the course was in great condition considering how early in the year it was. Greens were in great condition. Nice layout, fun and challenging. Staff is excellent, course amenities are better than average.
