About
Designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, the links-style Golf Club at Fossil Creek was nominated by Golf Digest as one of the best new public golf courses in Texas when it opened in 1987, and has lived up to that advance billing since then. The course is scenic, with massive trees, limestone bluffs, bubbling creeks, and numerous lakes that bring water into play on 15 of 18 holes. The course boasts pretty rolling fairways and 18 testing holes all intertwined throughout streams created by Fossil Creek. It's surrounded by rocky-ledged creeks and crystal lakes.

Only problem was the pace of play but that is to be expected on a sunday afternoon
Hostile Creek
One of my favorite places. On windy days this place is a beast like it was yesterday! Staff is super and the cart girl was very attentive. Just had my clubs reshafted and was hoping to see how they felt! I. Red to try again when they turn the wind down!
Insane pin placements!
I played Fossil Creek about a month ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked the track, I liked that you could not just pound away with a driver on every hole. I felt comfortable on the greens and shot pretty decent, an 82, ( I'm an 11 handicap).
Yesterday, was a whole new story. The greens had to be cut to a 12-13.... or more. My group had a total of (9) putts roll back to us.....30 to 40 feet or literally circle the cup and go the opposite way!!! Never seen that before. Also, I'm not sure if whoever set the pins could have been any more mad at the world. They were tighter than I've seen on most PGA events. ( I shot an 88).
As I really enjoyed the course the 1st time, I have to give it one more try....we'll see.
Solid B+ course
Good golf course around alliance area. Great facility and layout, however course Marshall’s are very rude. Had one chirping at us for not playing fast enough even though we were waiting on 4 group of people on the SAME HOLE.
For the price, there are better courses in DFW but this is still good
