Hy Hope Golf Course

Was great finally get out to play golf with a buddy. Despite the rain and wind the course was awesome! There was only one group in front so we took our time. Hoping to go back again especially when the weather gets warmer!

Nice course, the first nine is tough the back is much easier. You probably don’t need your driver and there is no alcohol on site- no clubhouse. After golfing buy a pie.

$33 walking 18 holes is little high compared to nicer courses near this area. Great food for sale at farm located on property.

It was a beautiful day. Overall course is in good shape. Pace was a bit slower, but reasonable ok. Be mindful since some of the holes are fairly close. Green were good and well kept. It is a walkable course with a few hills to climb. Better than I expected for sure, but a little far from Toronto.

We played Hy-Hope today and enjoyed the cool weather. The greens were surprisingly fast. The tee boxes are under repair so a few holes played short.

It is a great short iron warmup course.

All of the holes have their quirks and potential for difficulty.

Since I finished the game with the ball I started with, it was an alright 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Greens were in great shape. Pace of play was excellent

Would typically golf here 2-3 times every year. Was told we had to be in a 4some even though the other 2 weren't in our party. I work as a first responder and around people who do tested positive for covid. I'm just trying to do the right thing by distancing myself from others who are not in my circle but they are putting profit first... and people wonder why some don't take covid seriously. It's one thing if the course was busy but we went ahead of the other two in our "group" and no one was in front of us. No one at all and yet we were still told to golf with the other two in our party during play. Again, no one was being held up. We finished the course in a little over two hours. I used to golf here frequently, probably won't ever again but doesn't matter to them. They've made their money from golfers this year. In past years when it wasn't as busy this late in the year, I would get a number of rounds in. When life goes back to normal, you'll never see me there again. They've also cleared out a lot of their trees and scenery in the back 9. Every year it becomes less and less.

The course is short but the greens are tough. It is definitely worth the money and the orchards are beautiful.
