Hy Hope Golf Course

Greens are in great condition overall. They topseeded a few wks ago and it paid off; its a shot makers course and the rough and bunkers are well kept. Thanks for the great morning was a pleasure from begining through shopping afterwards for fresh tomatoes, pepperettes and rasberry pie.

This course is great to practice your game. Used almost every club in the bag. The landscape is very beautiful. Flowers everywhere. Driving in between the orchards was delightful. There a couple holes with breathtaking scenery. I would play this course again. I would also go back again to buy their butter tarts, maple pops, beer cheddar bread, strawberry rhubarb pie... I would go back to buy everything in their bakery lol. The only thing missing is alcohol. If they got their LCBO license... I would go here more than other places. Nothing more sweet than having a beer with a few of their delicious butter tarts at the end of your game...

The course is very fun to play and not too difficult. The staff are extremely nice and the atmosphere is very welcoming. We will be playing this course again.

Course was alight in nice condition. Some of the holes you can't see the flag, which is more of an annoyance / poor planning as this is not a professional course and mean't for beginners. Other than that, decent shape, easy to play, and as it is on a farm you can pickup some delicious goodies after.

Keeps coming back to this course without any pressure behind

Course is in beautiful condition. Lush fairways, fluffy sand bunkers, beautiful rolled fast prestine greens. Makes other full courses shameful. Best thing is that nobody plays this course in the mornings so can finish in 2 hours. Also why it’s is so pristine, not hacked to bits by the hackers lol.

Impressed with the upkeep and with the changes made to the course. Friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this golf course to friends and family .

The a very hilly course....we walked it...13000 steps, and 44 flights of stairs. The golf was good. No waiting and no one up your buttons. Great snack bar, produce, bread and pies! I will be back

The course is good the green are ok, it's a good starter course and a easy walk. Nice for older couples to play and walk, also younger players will love it.

Mostly par 3 but interesting and somewhat challenging. Course was in great condition, play was fast and a good time was had by all.

For being on a farm the course is well keep. A lot of blind shot but this make it challenging. Great place to work on your short game.

Only got through 3 holes and on the fourth I got hit by my golf partner in the nuts on the fairway and had to go to the hospital. They were helpful and asked if I needed medical attention and refunded the game as well.

Very nice course. Good value & great family fun. And afterwards we enjoyed the shop. Fresh pies & veggies. Lots of fun.

This course was a lot of fun for an executive style. You are right in the middle of their farm operations, very scenic. It is a bit challenging at the greens as some are pretty small and many are elevated, but I didn't mind. My only recommendation is to make sure you know what you booked, we has a bit of a discrepancy on whether or not a cart was included, as I had booked a cart through this site and they claimed in wasn't included. In the end, it was all sorted, and I had a great round. Just want others to beware of this, as it is a $25.00 dollar charge for the cart if you don't book in advance and want one (although push cars come with regular reservations, but it is hilly).

Quickly on off-course amenities, it's a farm type store, so lots of fresh fruit and produce as well as a lunch counter with hot dogs and sandwiches, but it is a store operation so people are in there buying small grocery items, so be aware and be patient.

I'd like to play here again, the only concern is the cart issue, hopefully it is not a worry on my next round.

Unfriendly front counter staff in the bakery shop (there is no pro shop). This is not so much a golf course as a spare piece of land running around the outside of the orchards and berry farm. Almost all holes are par 3's but almost all holes are blind shots either up over trees blocking fairways from even existing or uphill so steep that the green isn't even in view. I am therefore wondering if either the previous reviews here are from staff that work in the area/farm or from non-golfers as this isn't a golf course in the true sense. As well as that, on arrival unless you are willing to argue the price on golfnow is including cart they will always try to squeeze another $25 extra for a cart. Without a cart it is walkable due to short length but some on the hills are VERY steep so if you have any ailments or are over 50 be aware of that.

the course condition and utility have improved then last year, staff are friendly. will go back again.

I took my 3 kids to Hy Hope. FIrst thing they said to me when we finished was "when we playing again". That is all I needed to hear.

Now the course itself is excellent. Greens are small so hard to hit. Definitely was challenging to me.
