Not Cary Path Friendly
Very hilly course and the fairways slope away from the cart path. Why does this matter, was near 100 degrees out and cart path only when we played. A LOT of side hills , uphill, downhill walking. To be fair we only payed front 9 so can’t speak to back 9 layout. Hardly a flat lie on any hole.

I really enjoyed the layout of the course. Very challenging tee shots, soft and plush fairways, with smooth/fast/firm greens.
Found the tee time last minute on hot deals. Great value for a fun layout just north of Baltimore. Course was in great shape. Was probably about a 4.5hr round. Saw the cart girl 4 times. Excellent weather. No complaints.
Beautiful Course
Mountain Branch is a beautiful but challenging course. Course conditions were great. Thick rough will swallow golf balls.

Course in great shape. Greens were excellent. Beautiful views. First time playing there so would definitely like to go back with some knowledge of the course.
Amazing Experience
I love this course because they use the money that comes in to maintain it!!! Played here for the third time and each time the course conditions have been fantastic. The first round I played here the greens were punched, but I still had a great experience. If you can get yourself out here for a round, I would suggest doing so. Cart girl comes around, water coolers at some tee boxes. A clean, fun course to play. Ball cleaners at some tee boxes or on the carts would be nice but I'm just nit-pickin at that point. They have coolers on the carts at least ;)
Great first impression
First time playing. Started back 9 first, great opening hole. Many forced carries with relatively open fairways. A couple short "driveable" par 4's even from the blacks (not tips). Course tee to green was in fantastic condition. Will be back.
Good Old Mountain Branch
Course was in great shape compared to what it used to be. Greens were fast, fairways were in great shape. Definitely worth the money I played to pay there
