A tale of two nines
Eagle Hills has 18 enjoyable holes, a few with water, some in the woods, some on the rolling plains, all with challenging features and delightful contours and elevation changes. The first nine glides smoothly through typical suburban terrain but the back nine is more remote, nestled into the countryside with ample forest and pastures. The mid skilled golfer will find the length of this course appealing and challenging.
Very nice course for all skill levels
It was first time at the course and all the holes were in great shape and well maintained. The atmosphere was very friendly and I would recommend this course to anyone.
the front nine is open but the back nine is tighter and more challenging
Great day for golf. The cart girl came by about every fourth hole.
Good Variety
I like the variety and different challenges posed. 10 holes have water. 5-8 is a good mix of par 3s, 4s, & 5s with lakes. 9 is a par 5 that challenges you to cut the corner on a sharp dogleg.
Then the back nine goes through a forest and has streams, marshes, and lakes. Accuracy and ball placement is paramount at 11, 13, 14, and 15.
There are few lackluster holes (1-3), which is to be expected, and the last hole isn't a typical challenging finishing hole. The 300ish Yard uphill par 4 with large sand traps does offer an opportunity to birdie your last hole.
Very nice and relaxing course.
First time I've ever played this course, and I was very impressed at how nice it was. Extremely inexpensive and I will definitely play here again.
Greens are a bit in poor condition.
Had a overall great experience here. Course was a little short and played fairly easy. If you can carry a drive 260 yards or further you will be no more than 75 yards or less on every hole. Par 5's are easily reached in 2. This is from the white tees, and will have to play from the back tees next time to try to make the round more of a challenge. Only negative thing to complain about is the amount of people they have in a day on course makes for bad greens for a afternoon or evening round. Didn't experience anything that would keep me from returning. Especially since I have moved next door to the course from Missouri.
Easy course, greens need ball marks repaired
Course played pretty easy. Wide open fairways. Decent greens, just need the ball marks fixed. Other than that it was just ok.
Not pleased
The course was very try and greens had a tough time holding any shots. Some tee boxes you couldnt even get a tee in the ground it was so hard. Was also told buy a waitress the course system messed up and they double booked a bunch of tee times. It took over 5 hours to play. We had to wait on every hole. this could be a very be a nice course with some maintenance. But right now its a waste of money
Fun course w/ great amenities
The course is slow due to the popularity. However, I love the course. It was great for my niece who is a beginner.
nice course, warm up on front 9 and accept challenge on back 9
residential front, wilderness back, greens in great shape with good speed, some challenges especially on back, female companion friendly, staff ok
Nice course but some slow people
Besides the fact that we got stuck behind some people who were slow and really didn't understand the common courtesies that go along with playing golf, the course played great and the greens were in very good shape.
Good course
This is a nice municipal course in Papillion. It is reasonably well maintained and a good deal if you can catch a low rate.
Very good course
Our foursome was able to book this course the morning of our outing and the course was not crowded as we played. The course is in very good shape, but with the fall, comes the leaves and about sundown, it was more difficult to find the ball, but this is not the fault of the course, it can't be kept clean when every wind brings more leaves. What is typically a challenging course, is not right now due to the marshes and water on the course being dried up even after a recent rain, this made the course less challenging and therefore only a moderate difficulty rating. The sand traps do need a bit of a tilling as the recent rain had packed them down, but again, I don't find this typical at this course. The staff are super and more than willing to help in any way possible.
Course is in good shape.
Good value and the pace of play was excellent my girlfriend and I played in about three hours.
Great Course but lacking in Professionalism
Desk staff very abrasive especially the guy named Jim. Had groups playing in six-somes and no rangers to be found.
The back nine is challenging
I enjoyed the course over all but the front and back are different from each other. The front is fairly open but playing the back requires you to play target golf. You must know your clubs distances!
Would like to play the course again.
I found the course challenging, but I am a relatively new golfer. The back nine holes are quite different from the front nine holes, which I liked. Access to the course is very good.
Very good public Golf Course !
Two different feels for the front and back 9 holes. Nice course, great range plus they have three pratice holes that you can play after using the range. Not over challenging, but they do have some very unique holes. I will play this course again.
Nice Track
It was fun to see the difference in 9's. The back 9 was a little harder but more scenic. They could work on the greens. There were a lot of dried up ball marks. Again, a fun course to play.
