Challenging but fun course
The staff here is fantastic and the course itself is in great shape. The layout is challenging but still a lot of fun for golfers of all skill levels. Great course, I highly recommend it! The guys in the pro shop are fantastic!
Hidden Bijou ??
It was like a hidden treasure. The course was challenging and great. I will definitely play there again in a near future.

Excessive watering... the fairways had "lots" of standing water.
Fairways extremely wet. Golf carts aren't supposed to hydroplane or have rooster tails. Golfballs were submerged in the middle of the fairway.
A must play course
The course was in good shape for being early in the season. Fairways were good and greens were fast. The only downfall was that the weather did not cooperate and we had to wait until after our tee time to start.
A Beautiful Course
A beautiful course at the edge of Catoctin Mountains. Utilizing natural landscape, the course flows like a river and each hole has a character. It is not as challenging as nearby Maryland National, but it was still not easy for me to keep my score under 100. Some holes are too close to the adjacent housing development, though, and erratic hitters should be careful not to hit the ball to the backyard of those houses. The 18th hole has a beautiful and memorable setting near a pond and the grand club house which has capacity to host wedding celebration and other festive events. I enjoyed this course for mere $11.66 thanks to GolfNow.
My only complaint is that they were running 1.5 hours behind on tee times and told us it was only 30 minutes behind

Play this course!
This is a superb course, great layout, and in very good condition for this time of the year. The greens are in great shape and moderately fast.
Great course, good conditions for winter golf
I've always enjoyed playing this course and this was a very good deal through GolfNow. Very nice layout and good course conditions for winter golf.
Always an enjoyable round
The fairways and greens were in great shape for this late in the year. The only complaint would be that about half the bunkers were packed hard. Luckily, I avoided them, but the others in my group had a hard time.
Other than being stuck behind a slow group for several holes, the pace of play was quite brisk. We finished in a little more than 3.5 hours. The staff was friendly and I think their draft beers are the coldest I've ever had. I'll definitely play here again.
Tricky and Fun
The couse gave plenty of scoring opportunities if you were willing to take a few risk. We played in the middle of November and the greens rolled great.
I will definitely play this one again.

Enjoyed playing this course. Always wanted to play here and glad I took the chance to play this difficult course. Great staff to go along with this course. They were very helpful and seem to enjoy being there.

recent aeration is why the course was offering a ridiculously low rate but since plugs are dropped in out of bounds areas it did not greatly detract from play

Course recently aerated but plugs are deposited in the out of bounds areas so no impediment to play. Encountered some groups that were not keen on allowing a single to play thru.
This course has great features and gret views.
Very nice place to play golf. The green are very challenging. My first 4 and 5 putts in 15 years. Pins place on slopes and valleys. I would love to play this course again.

This course is great, not much water but a lot of sand traps.
