Winter Creek Golf & Country Club

this course is a hidden treasure. greens were starting to burn up, but I have played there before and they are usually just as great as the rest of the course.

This was our first time to play winter creek. Had high expectations from speaking with their staff. The course layout was great but the greens needed lots of work. They were burnt and had lots of weeds. One of the greens wasnt even open. The temp green was just a hole in the middle of the fairway but there wasnt even an attempt to cut the temp green even a little shorter. The tee boxes did not have most of the markers visible so we werent ever sure where to tee off. They usually were laying flat in tall grass and had to actually walk over them to see them. The fairways were in great shape but that was about it. Overall we still enjoyed ourselves and we paid a minimum based what I understand their green fee to actually cost. I probably would not return to the course and I find it hard to believe that people would normally pay that high of a green fee to play there. Yet again a great layout but needs some tlc.

Horrible greens nice layout though not worth the money unless they fix the greens u.s.open rough would not recommend for high handicap players great clubhouse !

The only unfortunate thing about this course is its greens. Wintercreek has the nicest layout of any public course in OKC and it's right up there with some of the nicer private courses. There is hardly ever anyone on the course presumably because it's a little ways from the city so the pace of play is alway fantastic. I've played here on the weekend where I'll only see 2 or 3 other groups on the course! The problem is year in and year out there is always an issue with the greens. They're quite large and have the chance to be some of the best in the area but my last round they seemed like painted mud. In my 4 years of playing the course it was the worst I've seen them. The superintendent just doesn't seem to know what he's doing. which is a real shame because the rest of the course is probably in the best shape I've ever seen it, it was truly in fantastic shape.

The course was in excellent shape, the staff was friendly and helpful and the price was good. The fairways were perfect and the greens were true. Ten holes had water on them. Had to hit an accurate tee ball in order to have a chance to score. Par threes were long an extremely challenging. Great time!

Beautiful course. Challenging but with many opportunities to get some birdies. Staff was great and they sell cigars which is a nice addition. Free driving range balls and chipping, bag service for your clubs. Cant beat this course, I played for 50% off during the weekday. Only bad thing is that the green on 16 has some bald spots. Employee told me they are working on it, but that hole is the only green where they have trouble maintain due to heat exposure. Definitely recommend this course.

just the right amount of bunkers in the fairways and around the greens, nice water hazards, a good course to challenge your golf skills

The best course in metro OKC that you haven't played yet.

Like a lot of courses in July, a little dry on the fairways. Nice layout and lots of fun to play.

THe course is well maintained, has a great putting green

The overall conditions of the tee boxes, fairways and greens were tremendous, however the rough on this course is 6-10" deep...as a regular weekend golfer that plays a few times a year, this rough is absolutely crazy. If you hit one into the rough, you may not find it unless you step on it or someone elses ball. The bottom line...the rough is ridiculous.

This is my favorite course in the metro area. It's very challenging and is never too crowded. If it was slightly more affordable I would play it more often.

For being out in the middle of nothing, this course has great playability and is kept in great shape. There is a lot of bunkering and some water but keep it between the roughs and you will not have a problem. Make sure you do lunch at the grill, excellent food and the young lady that works there is fabulous and makes a busy grill look effortless.

WE played Winter Creek on Friday with a Golf Now special. The course was in great shape and was fun to play. I have played it before when it was maybe not in this good condition but right now its really nice! Staff was friendly and it was a quick play. We played a 5-some in right at 4 hours and that was due to our slower play. Highly recommend it.

IF IT WERE LOCATED CLOSER TO OKC IT WOULD BE IN THE TOP 3 COURSES FOR PLAY.

Course is in great shape for late spring .The lay out of the course is very attractive. There's a few holes that are very challenging . This course is one of my favorite courses to play!

This is a very challenging course. It was very well maintained. The greens were awesome. Overall the course is one of the longest I have played. There are a ton of bunkers and lakes so you need to hit pretty straight.

The sand in the sand traps need to be deeper and softer

The course was in great shape! The greens were in fantastic condition. The entire staff was awesome from the minute we came into the parking lot! Food and drinks were great. The lunch we had after the round was really good and the prices were good. I cannot wait to return to Winter Creek! Fantastic course and service!
