Horrible conditions
This course was the worst course I’ve ever played on. The greens were in really good shape other than they had just aerated them. The tee off boxes and fairways were horrible. Only two fairways had any kind of mow grass on it. Sand everywhere where there is no grass growing and many of the boxes had artificial turf and a little 3‘ x 3‘ pad to put your ball on to try to tee off because the tee off area was horrible.
Nice Course! Monster Mosquito’s
Had a tee time for 8am, but didn’t go out until almost 9 even though I reserved, paid and checked in prior to arrival. Staff was nice but was very overwhelmed with the amount of people who showed up. Skipped ahead on hole #4 due to overloaded start on 1 with a very nice group that allowed me to join them. Enjoyed my round although I would strongly recommend bug spray for the amount of mosquitoes. Overall rating of 4 star, will return.
Not Ideal
I played this course for the first time the other day. The first three holes were just rough all around. They were extremely wet from being over watered. The tee boxes throughout the course were just awful. The layout was fun and I did enjoy playing the last 6 holes. It is in a beautiful spot, but just not well maintained at all. The staff was very friendly and I did not have to wait for a cart. I probably won’t play this course again unless my kids want to try a par three course
Infested with bugs and mosquitos
By hole 6 we couldn’t focus on golf from being swarmed by mosquitos and other bugs. There were large chunks of the green cut out as well.
Course Refinement
Tee boxes are still in sad shape. The price of playing this course has increased by 25 percent, but the quality of the course experience is still low. Hope you guys invest your price increase into the quality of the course, otherwise, people will go to your competitors for their golf experience.
Good short iron/putting practice course
Tee boxes were poor. After all the rain this past month the tee boxes could be in better shape. They need more attention which probably means a higher course budget.
Too Many high school/college students
Friday afternoon was a bad time of day to try to play this course because of the number of high school and college students, most of them were new golfers with little knowledge of golf etiquette. They were dangerous and more interested in drinking beer instead of golfing. No more on Fridays.
Decent 9 holes
Course is still recovering from winter and the tee boxes need some attention. It’s a nice nine hole layout .
Overall, nice par 3 course
I played for the first time in mid April and course was just coming out of winter conditions.
Hidden Gem! Great Local Course!
When I first went here I didn’t expect it to be nearly as great as it was! It’s a 9 hole course with no driving range so I assumed it wouldn’t be kept up as well as some of the other courses I play at. I couldn’t have been more wrong! The greens are in great shape, super well kept, and super fast! Way faster than you’d expect from a 9 hole or public course. The layout is also fun. Holes 1-3 are pretty open and good for warming up before getting into the trickier holes. Hole 4 you get your first water hazard and it’s a longer hole! Hole 5 is a fun shot through a narrow gap in the trees. Hole 6 is a fun island shot! Hole 7 is another narrow shot through the trees. Hole 8 is a fun short hole where you can hit flop shots to the green! Despite it being a par 3 course, hole 4 and 9 have some length so you can use your driver at times. And the course staff is all super friendly. You’ll also meet lots of nice people on the course. And the traffic is typically managed well! It’s a great course with not nearly the traffic it deserves!
