Great Value for the Money
Nice course. Nothing will blow you away but almost always has well-kept greens. Very friendly staff. For a $15 Hot Deal it’s a great value
Great Value
Due to heavy rain the night before, I played the course with “Cart Path Only”. Greens in fine shape . Fairways played well. My only recommendation is for better signage for first time players. Especially between holes for and five. The staff were very helpful and courteous.
Fun Track
Shot even on the front which is fairly easy. Back 9 will be easier the next time. You'll cross the same creek about 6 times on the back and you need to know what club to hit to stay short of it. Par 3's are all very short and there of plenty of bunkers. I'll give it another try later this year...Lots to do in Stillwater so worth the drive.
Worth the drive from OKC
Their ways were lush and green though some areas were a bit muddy and soggy from all the recent rain. Some very challenging holes especially 18 and I found it difficult as this was my 1st time playing there. A couple of holes were difficult to find and could have used better signage but over all it was an extremely enjoyable course to play. For only $10 on the golf now ideal it was a fantastic bargain. I was running late for my tea time but the staff was very friendly and accommodated me when I got there.I would highly recommend this course toOne and all. In fact I had purchased another hot deal to return there today And was greatly disappointed to find that the course was close as they were aerating all of the greens today which should greatly improve Several them which were a bit rough but none of them were badd. We ended up playing a nearby course at Cimarron trails which was twice the money but 4 times as horrible as the links with dried out hard fairways. Bottom line the links at Stillwater is the best deal around and we look forward to returning .
St Patty day round
Staff very friendly and accommodating. I was running late and they worked me in with no problem. Course in pretty good shape for all the recent rains. Challenging layout with some narrow tree lined fairways. Some confusing holes that could have more signage. Some sloping fairways that run your ball into rough or water. Lots of water, some hidden if you don't know the course, which I didn't. Hole 18 especially tough...lost 4 balls on that hole lol.
My wife got tied up and missed joining me but they gave me a rain check for her...really nice especially considering it was a Golf Now deal for only $10 , which is a fantastic deal for this course. Absolutely worth the drive from the city. I will definitely be back.
The course is in good condition
It is fun to play and several of the holes can be a real challenge and that is what golf is all about.
Go for it and you will enjoy the round.
This is a great but difficult course I recommend it to everyone.
Gem of the NW!!
This is a course u hv to play! Greens roll true and quick, fairways are narrow but fair......distance control a must on this short but very challenging course, especially with a south breeze/wind! Booked online for $10+fees($15) and well worth the drive from the metro!! Strongly strongly recommend you take in a round in the big Stilly!!!
Good price, decent course, very difficult.
You will lose balls on this course. The many of the fairways are very tight and some holes (like 11 and 18) require precise ball placement to even be able to see the green on the approach shot. So it can be very frustrating if you struggle with consistency (like me).
That said, it is a decent course and the price is right.; about $5-$15 cheaper than the other course in the area.
Pleasantly surprised
We usually play Lakeside across the street, but it had a tournament going on, so I have noticed this was added to GolfNow and its sister course in Norman is a pretty good place to play, so we decided to give it a shot.
Well, I am glad we did. This course is as good and in better shape than any course we have played in the last year. Everything was nice from the fairways to the greens.
It is not a bombers course as you are better off playing for position instead of getting full distance.
The par 3's are short, but that's ok...gives you a chance to work on the short game touch.
Since it is on Golfnow, I certainly plan to go back sometime soon.
Challenging
Good course great grass on fairways and greens roll true.
Great greens and tight fairways
It is all about the drive. Put the ball in the right place or you will pay a price. Beautiful rolling greens. The grounds crew know what they are doing. It is a fun course.
