Legendary Oaks Golf Course

I’ve played courses all over the country including Spyglass and Pebble Beach - and I can tell you, this course is no Pebble. But for the money and for where it is located, it’s a great deal. After heavy rains and it being winter time, the course was very playable. They offer Senior rates and their standard rate is reasonable. The course conditions are “okay” with decent fairways and soft greens. They have some challenging holes that will test the best golfers. Overall, I give this a thumbs up, especially since I do not need to drive into Houston to play.

This course is a very good layout, and dries quickly after rain. They are always working to improve the course and usually moves along to be able to finish in 3 to 4 hours. Greens need work but still winter here so cutting them slack.

Course was playable, greens looked rough but putted fairly well. Will play again for sure. Good value for the price!!!

The sand traps are the main issues on this course. They don’t drain rain water very well or at all in some cases. Poor condition mostly. I understand with all of the rain the course has had is not their fault, but seems like traps don’t get much attention. My friends tell me to stop hitting into traps HA HA But we love the course in general. Great staff!!!

The course was in awful shape today. No grass on the greens. Several parts of fairways that were muddy or had no grass. Several bunkers were full of water 1.5 days after the most recent rain. It appears legendary oaks is more focused on building new homes on the course instead of proper course maintenance.

It was like playing in the cow pasture. Green were decent, but from tee to greens was really tough. Most tee boxes were bare. The fairways were tough, like hitting off mud.

Golfers driving carts next to greens and tee boxes and on par 3’s when you are NOT supposed to be. 5 players sometimes not letting players thru. Not raking sand traps.

Deep woods off would not keep gnats from swarming my face on every shot. I would give more stars if they simply sprayed and killed the gnats. There is an infestation. Course is always a good price. Workers are nice Greens are often a concern. Pace of play always slow due to players not understanding ediquet and the total lack of any employees watching pace of play.

the course is starting to look a little sloppy needs work. looks like one of the ladys that works at the front is starting to come down a bit, she is not as rude as she normally is. Looks like she is bothered by you coming in. For the most party the course is still ok. for the price. NO ONE manages the flow of golfers speed.. sometimes is VERY SLOW, no one around to tell

Loved the course. Not crowded and the pace of play was good. Not a lot of trees to deal with. Water hazards are just enough to keep you on your toes. Priced reasonably and the staff is there to make your day wonderful.

This was a 45 min drive to the course but my brother in law and I were pleasantly surprised at the course. For the deal price of $20 plus a $5.50 bucketloads of balls be were happy. This time of year in Texas your not going to fine every thing green but the course was in good shape. The greens had recently had sand purée on them. We truly enjoyed our pace of play and the challenges of the course.

Some of the greens were in bad shape, maybe because of a freeze and then warm weather.

This course is one that can be challenging and rewarding as well. Like it very much

First time here. 1 hour drive from home. Very cold day with a little wind and light rain.

Course was a little soggy due to our rainy fall. Some cart path only holes. Tees and fairways were good but the greens were very good, amongst the best I’ve played.

Clubhouse/restaurant had a good burger and Karbach beer on tap!

Course is located on the country side. Very good value, extremely friendly staff, Despite lot of rain, course was playable.
