About
Once home to one of the world's largest herds of Jersey dairy cattle, the site is now the Jersey Meadow Golf Course. The course has evolved and changed dramatically over the years, including a major renovation in 2004 that replaced all the greens with Bermuda grass. The layout is routed through groves of mature oaks, providing a secluded feel to most of the holes. The golf course has a classic design that is still a fair test even by modern standards. Water comes into play throughout in the form of ponds, lakes, and winding creeks that weave through the holes. The 14th is a particularly memorable water hole with a creek all along the left side leading to the island green. The fairways are tightly lined with trees and the greens have subtle but tricky contours.

Construction of the new club house is messing up the access to and play on this course. Entrance from Jersey Meadow Dr. is blocked. Parking lot is hard to maneuver in/out. No access at the turn (#9/#10) to club house for drink/food or bathroom. I will avoid this course until the construction is done, which i was told could take a year.
Well Maintained for the current drought.
The course and fairways were quite well kept considering the water restrictions currently ongoing in the area.
The course itself is quite narrow with minor inaccuracies landing you in the next or previous hole's fairway as a result of the overall structure.
This also makes the course very well suited for practice in staying consistent with my line as a newly returning golfer after ending post youth.
My biggest gripe is that im not a massive fan of always having twosomes paired up as it can be a mixed bag of who you get. But thankfully this go around me and my partner were paired with 2 very kind and understanding individuals.
I would recommend this course mostly for days when you have a full foursome of mid to low handicap golfers as I can imagine it being quite frustrating for some higher handicappers with weaker mentals.
Not Bad
For how hot it’s been with the drought, the course wasn’t too bad. Not bad value for your money.
Where are the course marshals?
Course conditions ok. Staff ok.
Two bad points:
1) Please make public the fact that new construction on the course grounds has made access to the course difficult.
2) Where are the marshals? How about just ONE to move V E R Y S L O W foursomes with two complete holes open ahead of them??? It's way too hot to have to wait on every shot.
Not bad
Course was in good shape for the Crazy Texas heat we have been having. Greens were super soft and receptive although some were in repair… might want to fence off the areas in repair so they can grow faster than having people walk all over them
Will be a great course soon.
Played on a Saturday. Not too busy. seems like a lot of things in the works.
Friend couple and round
It is a course that I often use because it is close to my house.
It is a very good course that is easy for women to go around.
Great Course!
Love it here, great course, rough conditions, cart path only (Due to heavy rain the night before) Starter could use some manners, but I guess that is his job. Great overall round.
I'll be back and hopefully he is in a better mood!

This is a great track and the course is in great shape. A few spots here & there on the greens but highly recommend! The staff is amazing as well! I forgot my phone holder on the cart and they had it waiting for me in the pro shop when I called to ask about it. Thank you!
Great pace of play
Great pace of play and course was in pretty good shape considering the the heat and lack of rain as of late. Greens were recently punched and some look to be under some strain from the heat. Understandable of course. Other than that, hard to find anything to complain about. We will be back!
Jersey Meadow
The course was in exceptional shape considering the extreme hot weather of late. Only two minor concerns: a few greens had some raw patches and a few tee boxes were so dry that it was hard teeing up the ball. Overall a really solid track and good value for a round of golf.
