About
Once home to one of the world's largest herds of Jersey dairy cattle, the site is now the Jersey Meadow Golf Course. The course has evolved and changed dramatically over the years, including a major renovation in 2004 that replaced all the greens with Bermuda grass. The layout is routed through groves of mature oaks, providing a secluded feel to most of the holes. The golf course has a classic design that is still a fair test even by modern standards. Water comes into play throughout in the form of ponds, lakes, and winding creeks that weave through the holes. The 14th is a particularly memorable water hole with a creek all along the left side leading to the island green. The fairways are tightly lined with trees and the greens have subtle but tricky contours.

Greens need work
My experience was satisfying in that the course allows you different challenges, but the greens are hard, with little grass, and very bumpy. I would recommend only for friends to go out and have fun, but the course needs a lot of TLC
Pace of play
Great course, pace of play was horrendous . This was my first time playing here so this might be an isolated incident
Course was nice enough, looks like they are doing some things to fix it up a little, including new sand in many of the bunkers. However, the greens were below average to say the least. This is not typical of Jersey Meadow greens, so I have to say I was disappointed in the course conditions due to the greens.

The course has been a good course in the past and they are trying to improve but the greens are absolutely terrible.
Hate to say it but I wouldn’t advise unless putting is not an essential part of your game. Sorry
Fun course
This course forces a golfer to hit different types of shots and some of the pin placements were difficult to get to, but the course was fun. The greens had been punched recently, but they were decent for the most part. I'd play here again.
Above average
Decent little course and fun to play. Had issues with pace of play on a busy Saturday. Greens were in excellent shape.

Nice layout. Challenging from back tees 6700 yds. Greens a bit bumpy. Overall value not bad.
Payed for 18 but only 16 holes open
made reservation on line with golf now so they are at fault just as much as the course is for not letting me know all the holes weren't open for play. If you pay for 18 you should be able to play 18 don't you think. Had way to many sprinklers going. Had to rush to hit shots so I didn't get drenched by the water. Not a good experience at all. Very unorganized.
Getting Better
The course is making changes to the drainage, sprinkler system, sand, and overall appearance. They have trimmed a lot of the areas around the course, a much cleaner course now. It is still a challenging course for the average golfer, with narrow fairways and holes designed to play difficult if you don’t place your shots at the correct angle to approach the green, or miss hit into the water around the course. You may need to buy a few extra balls at the club house, to make it around the course.
You can tell they have just aerated the course, with small holes cut into the fairways.
I’m looking forward to playing more this summer just to see the improvements being make to the course.
I heard from one of the marshals, they are planning to build a completely new club house, with a full restaurant.
Keep it in the fairway.
Good greens no more
Played this course maybe 5 times last year and it was in ok shape 4 of the times. If it rains, don't bother. Every fairway had standing water on it. Literrally not one dry spot on any fairway. Greens were the worst I've ever seen them.

Layout was ok , par 3 s challenging.
Course was in bad shape weeds and clover everywere.
This course just wants to make money
I paid for my whole tee time through golf now because it was a hot deal. The next day was supposed to be cold but hey I’m not one to complain about cheap golf. I got 4 holes in and it started pouring rain and they did not give me a rain check...you kidding me!?!?
Changes made
It has been several months since I played Jersey Meadows. My experience was surprising, while play, there was tree crew
cutting down a tree that was always in the way of my drive on the 3rd hole, as I continued to play I noticed other trees that had been cut down which opened up the course. I also made notice of areas where the grass is usually thin and worn down, had been roped off preventing carts to be driven, allowing the grass to grow. The greens were in average share with faster pace than I remembered. I noticed they have cleaned up many areas that were over grown. They are apparently working to make the course better. I would recommend playing Jersey Meadow again if you have not played at a Jersey Meadows recently.
