About
Once home to one of the world's largest herds of Jersey dairy cattle, the site is now the Jersey Meadow Golf Course. The course has evolved and changed dramatically over the years, including a major renovation in 2004 that replaced all the greens with Bermuda grass. The layout is routed through groves of mature oaks, providing a secluded feel to most of the holes. The golf course has a classic design that is still a fair test even by modern standards. Water comes into play throughout in the form of ponds, lakes, and winding creeks that weave through the holes. The 14th is a particularly memorable water hole with a creek all along the left side leading to the island green. The fairways are tightly lined with trees and the greens have subtle but tricky contours.

Golfer Reviews
Changes made
It has been several months since I played Jersey Meadows. My experience was surprising, while play, there was tree crew
cutting down a tree that was always in the way of my drive on the 3rd hole, as I continued to play I noticed other trees that had been cut down which opened up the course. I also made notice of areas where the grass is usually thin and worn down, had been roped off preventing carts to be driven, allowing the grass to grow. The greens were in average share with faster pace than I remembered. I noticed they have cleaned up many areas that were over grown. They are apparently working to make the course better. I would recommend playing Jersey Meadow again if you have not played at a Jersey Meadows recently.
Jersey Meadows Golf
Nice staff,
Good place to have good challenge for a fair rate.
meh
Fairways were ok. Greens were in good condition. Decent layout - a little short. Marshalls were obnoxious - on the 3rd hole we had to back track to the tee box after hitting our approach shots b/c my buddy dropped his glove. Marshall showed up to 4th tee to sweat us on pace of play...and again on the 6th tee. It was ridiculous. Sorry our foursome couldn't keep pace with the twosome in front of us, but we still finished the round in 4 hrs 15 min.
Great course for the money!!
Got the hot deal and was very pleased with the course. Good greens.
The Marshalls do not care about pace of play here. If your not a regular, it seems like they don't care. I had a 100PM tee time booked in advance. I saw two groups of twosomes and a threesome sent out while I was checked in and in my cart waiting, the Marshall knew I was a there. WHY NOT PAIR ME UP WITH ONE OF THOSE GROUPS? It just didn't make sense. Also there was a tournament that was winding down on the back nine, they had the 18th green littered with beer cans, and carts sitting right on the back side of the green, very loud group around the green. I assume the tournament player had some kind game. I have never seen that before, especially if it affected the green. When I finally got to the 18th green, it was in horrible condition, looks like a heard of cattle came through.
Great condition
The course is in great condition, it is dry now after the flooding, greens are good and pace of play was perfect, with a noon tee time.
Great bargain and close to house!
Course was in good condition considering the amount of rain recently. Tee boxes need some work but overall good conditions. Played long with strong wind but good challenge for the average golfer.
Cheap course
It is very reasonably priced but not very well maintained so you get what you pay for
I like the course
The beauty of the course comes from the doglegs, natural obstacles (trees, water ponds) and fairly long holes, sometimes wide or narrow. Greens and fairways were in good to excellent conditions, beside some water puddles in the sand bunkers and some course areas (from the sprinklers as I am not aware of heavy precipation recently?).
Got paired with another player who was a joy to play with. Chipping/putting training area was in excellent condition. Sufficient drinking stations are offered.
Fun course
Front 9 was cart path only due to rain. It took 3 hours to play 9 holes. After that, it was 90D so we played faster. Great layout and greens were fast. I will come back.
Don't waste your time or money here.
The greens (ALL 18) are in horrible condition. Attempting to put was seriously a joke. Play was a 4.5 hour round. Also on half the holes we had to wait on other golfers playing adjacent holes because their balls were in our fairway. I have played many courses in and around the houston area and this was the worst golfing experience I have had in the past10 plus years. I paid $50 for the round having a later tee time but the course plays like a $25 course. I would suggest to others to strongly consider other options before booking here.
