Cardinal 18 Golf Club

I'll start off by saying we got rained out by the 12th hole, but I wasnt impressed with the fact that there were 6+ john Deere vehicles that seemed to be maintaining at the same pace my friends and I were golfing. It was certainly 5 holes the entire time we were on them they were working which didnt make for an enjoyable time. One time the vehicle backfired on my friends birdie putt, luckily he made par. Another instance, my friend has to move his ball to the other side of the fairway to avoid hitting one of the workers who was just sitting right inline with his ball and the hole. It's a well kept course but I would give up some of that for a little more peace and quiet. I had mentioned it to the staff and they just kind of shrugged it off. At least they gave us a rain check for 9 holes. They weren't bad guys, just dont think I'll be going back other than to play the 9 if I'm in the area.

Nice course, cart paths in bad shape, everything else well kept.

The layout was a bit confusing, as a first time golfer I actually had to look for the route to the next tee box on a few holes.

Pandemic has made finding good deals difficult, but this course was worth the price paid as part of a $33 18 walking hot deal.

Booked a tee time at this place for 4 people with 2 carts, drove over an hours to get there, showed up and they tell us they don’t have carts available for over an hr and a half from my tee time!

What a joke this place is not even a manager on site , and refused to give me back my deposit, I will never ever play at a cardinal facility again, including their Oliver’s nest ! Bye bye

Course is in great shape. Very well maintained. Some of the cart paths are a little rough but I walked so it wasn't an issue for me. Would definitely recommend this course if you haven't already played here.

I'm amazed what the new management did to become more exciting golf Course, new bunkers & the good condition of the greens. Cart paths still need some improvement.

I book this through Golf Now and I didn’t realize there was no cart. They charged me $40.00 for a cart - outrageous.

The course is in great condition, especially the greens. Very impressed with the tee block condition as well. Staff is always very friendly. Looking forward to our next game there.

Very technical course, tons of water and hazards. Great conditions, best bunkers I've played in Ontario. You'll need all of your clubs to be successful.

Played this course. when it was called Whitetail several times. Now taken over by Cardinal group. Tees and greens have big improvements in them. Fairways need some work and cartpaths are very bad. Course is plrasure to play though and nice test of golf. Nice mixture of holes. Enjoyed my round at very good value price.

This course was in excellent condition and beautiful. A few holes were a little wet but not enough to discourage me from playing there again very soon.

This course has the potential to be beautiful but the drainage is awful. No power carts allowed due to swampy conditions - I wish I had known before I booked because it was a difficult walk in soggy conditions. The course is still under construction and I won’t be coming back until I know that it’s in better condition.

This course was previously known as Whitetail, I had played it a few years ago and found the course to be less than average. The course is now called Cardinal 18 and is greatly improved! The conditions were wonderful, fairways were well taken care of and the greens were in great shape.

Have played before and is 100 percent better. Awesome fairways and great fast greens that are true to your read.

Hot summer day. Course is two distinct nines. The old course is a mostly open back nine with the new course being a tighter, tree lined front nine. Most holes have water in play off of the tee. Fairway and green side bunkers have excellent, soft white sand, not found in a lot of more expensive tracks. Being such a hot dry summer, my only complaint were some tight, dry lies in some spots. Looking forward to it maturing over time.

This course is challenging and very well maintained. I would definitely play here again.
