About
Carlton Gipson designed the Golf Club At Cinco Ranch in the early 1990s. It's a long golf course that features an ocean of water impacting play on 16 of 18 holes. For the most part, the holes are straight and open, with minimal trees framing the paths to the greens. The greens are unique because of the unusually shaped bunkers that create very different short game challenges from what one normally finds. One of the best holes is no. 4, a 557-yard par 5 that features an approach shot over water into an elevated green. In addition to the water, the green is fronted by a bunker that is at least 10 feet below the hole. This requires a phenomenal, blind bunker shot for an up-and-down.

Favorite neighborhood course
Cinco Ranch is conveniently accessible and a pleasure to play on.
Not worth the price.
Simply not worth the price. Better courses in the area at the same cost and better courses for your money as well.
Poor service, painfully slow pace
Had a 3:20 tee time, but when it was my group's turn suddenly the “3:15 group” had the box, which was just a bunch of members who got to bump us at the last minute.
Thanks to that group and probably others, pace of play was pretty poor — about 2:45 for the front side. No marshals on the course, no one monitoring pace of play.
Overpriced but Solid Course
Pace is slow, course is in average condition, but nice layout. If you can get on for a decent price do it.
Good Course
Friendly staff and course was in good condition. The greens were a little slow but the putts held their lines.
Course in great condition
Greens were a bit slow but were all in great shape. Bunkers were great and consistent. Fairways were in great shape. Cart girl made it around five times during our round. Very professional staff.
