About
Carlton Gipson designed the Golf Club At Cinco Ranch in the early 1990s. It's a long golf course that features an ocean of water impacting play on 16 of 18 holes. For the most part, the holes are straight and open, with minimal trees framing the paths to the greens. The greens are unique because of the unusually shaped bunkers that create very different short game challenges from what one normally finds. One of the best holes is no. 4, a 557-yard par 5 that features an approach shot over water into an elevated green. In addition to the water, the green is fronted by a bunker that is at least 10 feet below the hole. This requires a phenomenal, blind bunker shot for an up-and-down.

Cancellation policy
Had a good time golfing. The course is nice. I had booked the tee times and paid in advance. Got a call from my golf partner saying he couldn’t come cause he threw his back out. At the course the guy in the pro shop told me he couldn’t do anything, and that I had to get GolfNow to refund the money. Tried to cancel and marked the reason for cancellation as injury and GolfNow said it’s not a good enough reason. Guess I’m gonna start calling the courses to book tee times as GolfNow wants money up front and doesn’t want to give it back

In good condition
The course is in great shape. The only thing is that the bunkers are full of pebbles and even rocks. They are unplayable if you value your clubs from bring damaged. This has been like this for years. It's a shame because the greens and course is great otherwise.

Excellent condition despite drought
Greens in very good condition and fairways ok despite drought I quill play again next time I return to the area.

Worth the Money on a Hot Deal
Course has open fairways that are in great condition. Greens are in great shape (a little slower because of recent rain) and smooth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a reliable Hot Deal course...I've paid similar pricing in other markets and the conditions were not nearly as good...I'll definitely play it again

Absolutely love this course, definitely will be returning soon to beat former score. Nice fairways, fast greens, Sandy bunkers, Nice flat greeny tee boxes, and fun and challenging holes throughout. Really good overall experience.
