Kings Creek Country Club

About
From the tips, Kings Creek can play particularly tough because of the prevailing winds off the shores of Cedar Creek Lake. However, on calm days this course can be had, since the layout is fairly basic and features water on only six holes. In the late 1980s, the course became known for its improving condition, and that reputation has held true over the years.
The front nine is shorter and a little easier than the front, its toughest hole being the 200 -yard No. 3 over water. No. 14 typifies the longer back: a 576-yard marathon with water on either side of the fairway.
Getting there : From Dallas, take I-175 south, then turn right on Hwy. 274. The course is 2 miles down the road.

Kings Creek, Great Improvements
The new owners have done a good job in making this course a great value for the money. The greens were well manicured, fairways were much improved.
All new golf carts, plus renovation to the clubhouse set the tone for a great day of golf.
Awesome course to play!
Kings Creek has new ownership as of about a year ago. They have made so many improvements to the course. The greens are an excellent shape right now as is the overall course. I do not know of a more friendly and helpful staff at any other Golf Course. I highly recommend Kings Creek and give them a solid 10 out of 10!
Worth the price
I enjoyed the course, all 18 are open and in good playable condition. Greens are nice but not too fast. Worth the price. Fun layout I’m looking forward to playing again soon.
Course was nice
New carts, greens looked good. You could tell they have put some money to course 👍🏽
Awesome Course
Great staff and the course is in great shape. New owners are making great strides in making this an enjoyable experience!!!
Great things happening
Change is coming to kings creek. The back 9 is currently closed, due to green and fairway work. The place is definitely making some strides. Making the turn, a semi with new carts was pulling up, they swapped my cart and put me in a brand new unit, it was awesome!!! They are working hard, and you can tell.
Decent course
It was a decent course for the $23 that it cost to play there. They said that they were getting new carts soon, which is good because theyre current carts were pretty messed up. We had a group of 4 people in front of my friend and I and they were playing very slow. It was so slow that my friend and i decided to leave 3 holes early. I was told that there was nothing that could be done to get them to speed up. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and they have a great hamburger at the bar inside.
Golf Cart
Played the back nine this Morning and my cart kept dying n barely moving. After fighting it for 8 holes it finally died on me halfway through the last hole. I just left it there grabbed my stuff and walk away. I let the club house know about it and only thing they could say was that they were waiting on fuel pumps…. WOW is all I could say n walked away cause I was already heated…
