About
From the tips, Kings Creek can play particularly tough because of the prevailing winds off the shores of Cedar Creek Lake. However, on calm days this course can be had, since the layout is fairly basic and features water on only six holes. In the late 1980s, the course became known for its improving condition, and that reputation has held true over the years.
The front nine is shorter and a little easier than the front, its toughest hole being the 200 -yard No. 3 over water. No. 14 typifies the longer back: a 576-yard marathon with water on either side of the fairway.
Getting there : From Dallas, take I-175 south, then turn right on Hwy. 274. The course is 2 miles down the road.

Improved course
The greens have really improved and they've been renovating the bunkers. Great value
Good things happening.
Greens are in fantastic shape. Fairways and cart paths still need a little work. Not only were the staff very friendly and helpful but all the golfers said Hi and were very friendly, stark difference between courses in DFW. Group let us play through on #3. New carts and overall great golfing experience with the wife and I. We will be back!
This course has improved a lot!
I played this course 5 years ago and it was a dump. I couldn't pass up a $25 hot deal.. So I decided to make the 1 hour drive and give it another chance... This place has come a long way since then! The greens where excellent. The course overall was in good shape for January. The back 9 has some bumpy fairways still, but much improved from what I remember. I think that I got a ton of value for my $25. I'm happy to add this course back to my list of fun courses to play in East Texas.

There all ways improving the ground and equipment to make the course really nice. Very friendly staff
Kings Creek, Great Improvements
The new owners have done a good job in making this course a great value for the money. The greens were well manicured, fairways were much improved.
All new golf carts, plus renovation to the clubhouse set the tone for a great day of golf.
Awesome course to play!
Kings Creek has new ownership as of about a year ago. They have made so many improvements to the course. The greens are an excellent shape right now as is the overall course. I do not know of a more friendly and helpful staff at any other Golf Course. I highly recommend Kings Creek and give them a solid 10 out of 10!
