About
From the tips, Kings Creek can play particularly tough because of the prevailing winds off the shores of Cedar Creek Lake. However, on calm days this course can be had, since the layout is fairly basic and features water on only six holes. In the late 1980s, the course became known for its improving condition, and that reputation has held true over the years.
The front nine is shorter and a little easier than the front, its toughest hole being the 200 -yard No. 3 over water. No. 14 typifies the longer back: a 576-yard marathon with water on either side of the fairway.
Getting there : From Dallas, take I-175 south, then turn right on Hwy. 274. The course is 2 miles down the road.

Not pleasant expierenxe
We had a 7:20 tee time. The pro shop doesn’t even open until 7:30. But on this day the staff didn’t even show up until closer to 8:00. This caused the course to be backed up for the rest of our time there. There was multiple tee times that left prior to staff arrival. One tee time was set for 7:00 but yet the pro shop doesn’t open until 30 min after. We started on the back 9 and it was terrible. The fairways are like driving down a dirt oil field road. The front 9 was much better but due to the late arrival of the staff, we were constantly waiting for others.
Good Value
Course is in descent shape. It’s a little hard but I feel like they are trying to make it a better course. Greens are a little bumpy but they do hold and they are cut well. Just needs a little more grass to grow in. All in all this course is worth the money you pay and it has an above average driving range.
Gettin Better
The course is coming along. It was much better today than when I played it a few months ago. The new owners have helped this course a lot.

A work in progress
You can see the effort to get this course into good shape. Greens and tee boxes are on the way to being much better than they were. Some fairways are nice and some have a weed problem. All in all I really appreciate the work being put in. Found a snake getting out of the rain too haha keep an eye out!
Turning Round
The staff is really putting in the effort to make this place a fun place to play. Greens and tee boxes are on the up and up. With a few warm weeks, this place will be well worth the fees.

Improving under new ownership.
This course is improving significantly. The clubhouse is revamped, the smoking section has been moved, and the course is being cared for. The greens are still patchy, the bunkers need improving, and the course bathrooms need help, but you can see the work they are putting into it. I'd say in 6 months to a year, this place will be outstanding.

Kings creek
The word on the net was that Kings Creek was in poor conditions and had an over bearing course marshal. The conditions are turning around. There was more good grass on the course than a few others n the area. The greens were rough and had some patches but the grass is making a good comeback. My friend and I learned that the place had just been taken over by new owners and new management. We didn't see anyone acting a marshal and our visit was extremely pleasant. The staff greated us warmly and informed us of all the good things coming. I'm looking forward to coming back n a month and seeing the improvements now that the season has changed.

Greens need attention
bunkers no longer have sand, greens are barely hanging on. Great layout, could be a fun course

King's Creek golf course
Fees were average in price but course conditions from the greens to the fairways were awful. Course satellite bathrooms were horrible, not maintained at all.

Rough shape
I think this was probably a nice course back in the day but it has fallen on hard times. The conditions were poor. Sad because the layout is nice.
