Country View Golf Club

This is my go-to course for a quick round and the ability to get on and play. This is winter so the grass is dormant and the lies tight. Green do roll true and fast. The challenge is to stay on the elevated target greens. A variety of shots is required here and all clubs will be used. There is a good mix of moderate and harder holes to keep your interest.

This course is definitely a challenge but fun for all levels. The biggest obstacles are the elevated greens. The greens are in great shape for this time year. Sharpen your short game and you should have a great time. If you haven’t played this course I would recommend you make it a point too.

The course is in fairly good condition for the time of year. Pace of play was decent and I was able to play through a slower group which is always very much appreciated. I played from the blue tees, the course isn’t the most difficult around, there are no sand bunkers, however a decent amount of challenge for most golfers especially if you play from the tips (Black tees). I believe the greens fees are very reasonable for the quality of the course and would recommended this course to other local golfers.

Don’t know if they have a marshal or not but they need several. Left after 9 because I couldn’t stand the pace of play. Maybe they were starting people too close together or something, I don’t know but I probably won’t go back. Also didn’t like all the greens being elevated. The driving range is short so they use limited flight balls and the chipping green was not good. I guess if you just want to play a cheap round this could be your course but there are better ones out there.

Starting off every player has to enter personnel information to play. Course conditions are poor. Tee boxes 50% dirt 50% grass. We are in the winter season but fairways are hard as cement. Greens used to be top of the line 3 years ago but looks like they are suffering as long as the rest of the course. Water hazards from holes 3 to 6 are dried out and are just mud hazards. For all these reasons the rate reflects the course. This brings out beginners and slows down play quite a bit. Holes 14-18 are fun but course for more avid golfers should be a last resort.

Irate a club based on how many covers are still on my clubs when ai finish playing. With this course every club came out of the bag several times. The elevated greens are a special challenge. Overall, great fun!

It is out of date to have motor cars instead of electric cars. I have been going to a golf municipal golf course near downtown Dallas , where I live , and they have theirs with GPS and at the same price to play . .So , I am not goint to Country View Golf court again ever. Also , the last time I went , there was an African-American man who was very rude to me when I was playing. I went there the first time and after that because I was working for Lancaster ISD but I am not anymore. then. You need to be more polite , and 30 dollars is too much for your golf course.

First off the place is managed very poorly, bathrooms smelt horrible and very unclean. The pro shop staff Peyton and this girl had no idea what they were doing, don’t know why they needed two of them up there, they weren’t managing the tee sheet at all, the pace of play was super slow, the golfers were very rude, everyone had there own cart which didn’t help the situation at all, the grill staff was very rude, they gave me attitude and the food wasn’t even good, burger was almost raw, soggy fries and was overpriced, my girlfriend was riding along with me and they made me pay 20 dollars like really and on top of that ten manger was being flirty with her. Probably will never come back out, no ball washers on course and very bad pace of play!

This course is 20 miles from where I live. There is a course only 4 miles away from where I live. I will begin with the staff. They are very Golfnow friendly. I will give the staff 5 stars. The course is in very good shape for this time of year. It does not have any bunkers but the course offers its challenges. All greens are elevated. This had become my favorite course. Yes, its 20 miles away. But it’s worth the drive.

Cold day but had a great outing with friends. Course is in great condition. Love the elevated greens. Putting surface is right on. Fairways are in good condition for time of year. Not an easy course. Fun golf.

This was the first time golfing this course. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The greens are tough and there are some very challenging holes. Loved hole #17. We had a drink and a burger after and everything was amazing! We will be going back!

Played this course for the first time, excellent value for the money. Course is not long but the challenges with the short game make up for that. Good wedge and putter ply is critical. Staff was very friendly

The overall condition of the course were very poor to say the least. Fairways and tee boxes were very hard and dry. Tee box’s also provided players with an uneven lie to start every hole. Greens were very slow and not in the best condition. If you want to play an affordable round of golf go to one of the grand priarie municipal golf courses.

This has become my favorite course. It is not a long course; however it is challenging. There are no sand traps and all greens are elevated. It has become my favorite course. I drive 20 miles to get to it and will continue.

Pretty good facility. Has pretty much everything a golfer needs from driving range to chipping green to putting green. Only flaw I see is most parts of the course has cracks from the dryness.
