About
Ron Garl came to Lancaster, Texas in 1989 to build Country View G.C., a truly unique course. No. 7 is the most difficult hole -- a long dogleg right with water in play off the tee and in the fairway. Also, get ready for no. 15, a unique par 3 that features a green completely surrounded by huge trees. Most of Country View's tee boxes are elevated and there is water in on over half of the holes.

Huge improvement
Played this course several times the last year and it is in the best shape I’ve seen it in. Care is being taken to protect the greens, fairways are in much better condition, great layout. Water jugs on the course are always full.
Tee boxes are a little rough, no beverage cart, no ball cleaners. Otherwise a great course

For the money it’s fine . The course marshal kept telling us to speed up however we were always waiting on group in front and so on .

Decent
Good value if you get a hot deal. If not, paying at the course isn’t a great deal. Tough course with a lot of turtle shell greens. Staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful.

I like the lay out very challenging course need to hit your shots imprecise area to line yourself up for a second shot.
I like Country View Golf Club is a very challenging Golf Course must keep in mind golf management positioning your ball in the right spot for your second shot very fun course would recommend to mini mini mini friends.

My name is Lancaster... After the Storm
2nd time here and still it's a very challenging course to navigate. The sogginess and countless ant mounds made it difficult to position play and walk "Heads Up".
Overall this is a great place to play as the layout was the attraction for me. ALL Staff members were 100% customer service oriented and actually enhanced the golf club.

I guess u can say it was playable..
So the course was playable lill soaked so it was cart path only. When ask for price to walk the price went up $12, lol yup. So we played 18 asked for replay connor informed us it would be the cart fee $20. So $10 a person nope $40 a cart really. I mean I get yall are working on the course and i think it will get there but customer service is easy..take care of the players and they'll comebackk!!! Js

Good Course but..
Good Course but had zero ball cleaners or cleat cleaners. The course had a great layout and the play was fast, but how can you have a golf course without one ball cleaner?
Greens and fairways were well taken care.

Nice deal for 20 dollars
every green elevated....
some very hard holes....
4 groups backed up when we got to 10... poor course management...
conditions were below average to average in terms of fairways..
long drive for me to play first time..likely won't be back...too many other courses closer and nicer than this one but if lived nearby I would probably play again

Perfect for what you pay
If you’re looking for a secluded, easy, pretty cheap and not overly populated course to play on a Saturday, this is as good as any. Very good for the price. It’s a perfect beginners golf course.

Great Layout, Fun Course!
This was great. Course layout is diverse and really fun, not too difficult. My only issue was that there weren't any ball cleaners or shoe cleaners throughout the course.

Great round today
The course is in great shape, the staff has worked really hard to get the greens back and they're in great shape. I like how they've roped off the greens for keeping carts away . Elevated greens so have your shot ready. I love this course and the club house is awesome. Great course for the money

Very nice course
The course is in very good shape. All greens are elevated; and the greens are in very good shape and rolled true. A very nice challenging layout. For wintertime it is worth the drive.

Not worth the drive
Not worth the drive to Lancaster from Dallas. It had rained a lot, and the course was muddy, but playable. Country View just didn't have anything really hard about it.

Great greens
The greens are great. All are raised up which makes them play more difficult but roll smooth. Whites are a little short will play blues next time. Conditions were average but value was great.
