About
Ron Garl came to Lancaster, Texas in 1989 to build Country View G.C., a truly unique course. No. 7 is the most difficult hole -- a long dogleg right with water in play off the tee and in the fairway. Also, get ready for no. 15, a unique par 3 that features a green completely surrounded by huge trees. Most of Country View's tee boxes are elevated and there is water in on over half of the holes.

This course is in good shape.
One of the best golf courses in the DFW. I am so picky on greens everywhere i play and country view has the best, bar none. The pricing is very reasonable.
The front desk personnel are o.k but the kitchen folks are great.
A must play, do not forget your lob wedge, you will need it
