Lake Park Golf Club is located below the Lake Lewisville dam, and was originally known as Oak Ridge Park. Make sure you warm up before your round, because no. 1 goes 465 yards with water in play off the tee. The next notable hole is no. 8, which offers a nice risk-reward situation with two small ponds protecting the green 312 yards away. With the wind, it is definitely driveable. On Lake Park Golf Club's back nine, no. 10 gives you the option to carry the lake with a 230-yard-plus drive, or lay up and leave yourself with a long approach over the water.

I’ve played LP18 several times before but never 6:30am.
And I was in for a treat. I was solo and got paired up with the the weekend regular group. They were very chill and awesome folks. The pace of play was outstanding for the amount of people on the course.
The course was in great condition that day too.
Can’t wait to go back and hopefully get paired up with the same OG’s.
Course drains well
2 inches of rain the night before so it was cart path only. Course was wet yet very payable
A Course to Play Again
If you want to work on your game this is a very good course to play over and over again. It allows to concentrate on your swing and skills and not worry about the difficulty of the hole. I take my rounds of practice here to more challenging courses and put it to use. I always have fun on Lake Park 18 and my game improves.
Typical Municipal Course
Not much character or personality. Not difficult or challenging. Fairways are way too close, almost every hole was impacted by errant hits from other holes/fairways. My GPS was confused a time or 2 as to what hole we were on. Would definitely not go back.
Bang for your buck!
Solid track, plays easy and wide open. Off the lake so wind is always in play. Greens were a bit bumpy and fuzzy. Staff is great! Overall great round for what you pay for.
